I was the Project Manger on an interior renovation at the Ritz Carlton White Plains, where Kelly Weldon was the specified designer. Her design was clearly documented and well executed to the most exact detail. With her on site availability and coordination we were able to meet our date of completion. It was a pleasure to work with such a professional and would recommend her to all who ask. I would take any job that she was a part of.

Kelly Weldon, simply put, is a Rockstar Interior Designer! She transformed my ordinary Mid Town Manhattan condo into A Work of Interior Design Art! From consultation, thru Demolition, rebuild, remodel, and project management (with the building association and city), even hand selected all of the finishes and furniture, seamlessly executed every facet of this project ! As a real estate broker, I see plenty of properties and plenty of interiors. So I had a pretty good idea of what I liked and what I wanted to incorporate into my own apartment. When it came time for me to decorate my apartment I knew that if I asked Kelly she could provide me with some input and ideas. I have trouble sleeping at night. Kelly actually listened to me and knew that getting a good night's sleep was paramount to me having a productive day at work. When she first proposed dark colors and black out draperies I was skeptical. I was afraid that it would be horrific disaster. I was surprised to see that it wasn't just any dark colors, but the right dark colors when paired with the overall aesthetics of the room. Her pairings create an overall feeling of tranquility. It has literally become a lifesaver. Now when I retreat to my bedroom for the evening, I wake up relaxed and recharged for the day ahead. It is probably my favorite room in my apartment, and I love it. The next room that I asked for Kelly's consultation was my living room. After hearing her ideas, and weighing my options, I took it upon myself to acquire what I thought would work better than her suggestions. I was wrong. As a matter of fact, it took me buying (and returning) at least two sofa’s before I realized that Kelly knew what she was talking about and I eventually ended up buying the sofa she originally recommended! What I will say is Kelly listens and takes her clients' needs to heart. She uses her expertise of interior design and combines it with the human side of creating a space where you actually want to live. If I had listened to her originally, I would have saved myself a lot of time and money. What remains of my decoration project is to buy a dining room table. Kelly made her suggestion for which table would work best, and after my sofa fiasco, I am heavily leaning towards buying the table she recommended.

Kelly Weldon Design was hired to do a revamping of the living space in my house with the existing furniture and décor. I thought I was pretty creative in how I had it. Kelly's vision pleasantly surprised me for I did not envision what she created with the current décor. I would recommend this firm for any project. Thank you Kelly Weldon Design!

I own and manage apartment buildings in NYC and don't have a lot of time to deal with my own residence. Recently, I moved back into one of my flats that I had lived in years ago. I have always loved this particular space but it was in need of revamping. After showing Kelly only one image of what I liked, she was able to take my ideas and transform the interior beyond what I could have imaged. She has the uncanny ability to easily understand and implement what I wasn't able to put into words, and it was amazing. Because of the unique architecture in my apartment, I figured there wasn't much that could be done; however, she was able to take her understanding of architecture and construction, combined with her incredible knowledge of design aesthetic, and brought it all together for an amazing final product. In terms of the work getting done, what I found really unique about Kelly was the relationship she had with the contractors: she was able to speak their language, and she knew what she was talking about. This was really helpful, and it showed, because they loved working with her. On a side note, she was not afraid to tell them what she expected and what they needed to do to meet her high standards. When I first saw the space without furnishings etc. it was hard for me to visualize the finished product. Kelly took all elements into consideration: selection of lighting, materials, fabrics, and even paint finishes (all things I have never seen together before, let alone considered on my own) which, honestly, took me by surprise. When the finished product was unveiled I was blown away! The space is hip, yet, timeless, sophisticated, warm and welcoming all rolled into one. I give Kelly my highest recommendation. Joe

As an interior designer, she brings a unique understanding of design and construction issues which really adds value to the design process. She is also a true pleasure to work with. I was a part of the initial walk through of this project and was informed of the constraints involved. In reviewing the final outcome I can only say that the results were outstanding. The blending of remodel work with decoration concerns from the outset is clearly demonstrated in the warm and inviting final product.
