The best thing about working with Kim is that there are no pretenses or assumptions...she is down to earth, and listens intently with smart and focused attention to what you desire. But Kim is not a "yes" person...if she thinks your idea won't work, she will tell you so but then at the same instant offer up great alternatives for you to consider. Kim is also a great communicator. She returns messages in a nano second and makes sure her team will get the job done for you correctly. Last...this gal has great resources and networks. Where do you start after receiving a referral from Hero Homes of Loudoun. Kim and her team took the time to really explain their process from start to finish. They help my wife and I to decide on the right mix of style for what we wanted. From kitchen cabinet colors, handles, and the attention to detail for all of the fixtures including faucets to make them uniform in color and style throughout the house. For anyone who desires patients, professionalism, understanding, and honesty KKI is who I would recommend for my projects. Not only did they help to shape our ideas from thoughts upstairs to what we have now a beautiful kitchen, bath, and overall layout. Truly one of the gems in Loudoun county that I would highly recommend.

Kim Kendall Interiors has helped us update and renovate our first floor -including a brand new kitchen build out. From the first phone call the staff worked very hard to hone in on our personal style and Kim married her beautiful sense of design with our style seamlessly. We had many thoughts of what could be done in our home but would not have been able to implement our vision without Kim's expertise. All the contractors that Kim uses have been very professional and have done gorgeous work (cabinets, painting, flooring and tile work). The combination of interesting architectural elements and unique, high quality furniture and fabrics have created a space that we couldn't be more proud of or comfortable in sharing with our friends and family.

My husband and I are undergoing a basement remodel and we hired Kim to come to our house for an initial consultation. We were having a lot of difficulty coming up with a final floorplan, so we were in need of a professional eye to help us design the space. Kim and Lucinda came to our house and were able to finalize our floorplan AND provide us with design details for a 1500 square foot space within a 2 hour period! They had a fantastic vision for the space and saved us from making some serious mistakes. I can't recommend them enough! We liked them so much, we hired them a couple months later to assist with some of the final design elements. We are planning on several remodeling projects and we will definitely be using them in the future!

Kim Kendall Interiors did an outstanding job on our upscale Tuscan inspired basement which included an extensive bar, 3000 bottle wine cellar, movie theater, exercise room and full bath. Kim provided inspiration pictures, fabric, wood, tile, paint and wall finish samples which helped tremendously in developing the look and feel we were after. She is an excellent problem solver who focuses on function as well as design. We would recommend Kim Kendall Interiors for any of your design or home remodel needs. She is currently helping us with several other deign and home remodel projects.

We hired Kim Kendall Interiors to remodel our bridal suite at The Stable at Bluemont Vineyard. Kim and her professional team met and exceeded our expectations and stayed within our budget. We were looking for a timeless look that would tie into our rustic, elegant theme and appeal to the masses. She knocked it out of the park!! Re-purposing furniture was very important to us. Kim took us on hunts to local antique shops and barn sales and found the perfect pieces. She even found the perfect wedding themed toile fabric that also matched with her suggested room paint colors. The fabric was use to re-upholster two antique wing-back chairs. Kim has impeccable taste and gives extreme attention to even the smallest of details. We would encourage EVERYONE to hire Kim Kendall Interiors for any and all of your future remodeling/redesign projects!

Kim Kendall has helped me over the past 4-5 years with projects from choosing paint color to a total transformation of the upper four bedrooms and baths. She has an amazing eye for color and space, with our open floor plan, she did a good job of creating unique room spaces with easy color flow to the hallway. She is also good at problem solving issues, such as, choosing a darker shade carpet for my daughter's bedroom that was previously stained due to make-up and DIY projects, the color is not boring and creates a complement to the fresh new color on the walls. She understands the final result needs to be functional as well as beautiful and will work to achieve your expectation. The guest room was also another welcomed surprise, she took a 'tired' extra bedroom and made it into a beautiful guest retreat using an antique estate bed frame for the inspiration. I went to Kim with a budget in mind, she did work hard to stay within the stated range but also pointed out times where it would be worth it to spend more on some items due to the overall look. I can say I have never been disappointed with the result of the additional cost. I have been happy with all the project outcomes but my favorite is probably the exterior paint of the house, it added new curb appeal and a fresh look. She showed attention to detail from the paint on the front door to the porch ceiling, with a final recommendation for a landscaper who added a new walkway and landscape. The result is beautiful!
