We had the best experience working with Kirby Home Designs. We enlisted Kirby to help with our kitchen remodel and home addition including a bedroom, full bathroom, powder bathroom and laundry room. She connected us with a great builder and the two companies were a solid team for our project. We moved forward on the project knowing we had a tight timeline with our second child on the way and they absolutely delivered in terms of timeline and product. I credit the success of our timeline to Kirby and her team as they kept us ahead of decisions and put together 3D models and organized plans that allowed subcontractors to know the plan exactly. They did such a nice job of marrying the new design with the rest of our home and presented concise options that made it easy to make decisions. Any time we had a question they provided clear reasons for why they made a recommendation - we trusted all of it and are so grateful that we did. They are always a step ahead of the process which was really a game changer in this remodel experience.

We met with Kirby before we were finished with architect drawings for our new house. Through discussions and shared pictures Kirby quicky learned our style and preferences and could articulate them better than we were able. Her design skills had a very positive affect on every aspect of the build process - from changes at the architect drawings stage, through planning and completion of indoor and outdoor design and construction and including helping us acquire internal furnishings. Her pre-selections of everything from stone and brick to kitchen and bath fixtures, lights, hardware, countertops and paint and stain colors were based on her understanding of what we would like and what our budget would allow. Those pre-selections made the entire decision-making process so much easier and less stressful for us. We are very pleased with our new house and Kirby deserves much of the credit for the outcome!

We are thrilled with the way our new custom home turned out with the expertise of Kirby Home Designs. I had many hours of watching HGTV under my belt but never could I have imagined the level of detail and expertise poured into our project by Kirby and Emily, nor the beauty of the results! At our first meeting Kirby learned the style we liked and was able to see the existing furniture and artwork that we wanted to incorporate. She is very knowledgeable about the construction process and worked seamlessly with our builder to keep our decisions on track, as well as guiding subcontractor installations impacting design elements to eliminate mistakes and rework. She was very mindful of our budget throughout the process and knew where to make big impacts. I would say we went with her first recommendation on most design choices at least 90% of the time. Her portfolio no doubt speaks for itself but it was truly a joy to work with Kirby and Emily. Hiring Kirby Home Designs was an investment with huge returns.

Working with Kirby helped make our home building process a dream! She was able to adjust and recommend selections to fit our style/tastes/budget. Most importantly she was extremely detailed and organized. She kept the project on track, never behind for a single milestone and every trade had all the information they needed to complete their job properly. That is HUGE. We highly recommend her for small design projects like furniture selections, all the way up to completing a full home design. She won't disappoint!

From day one of meeting Kirby in discussing my vision in what direction I wanted to take my remodel in colors, look, furniture, hardware, light fixtures, etc. it was evident that she has wonderful taste, very energetic, and extremely good at what she does with the highest passion. I would let her know on each room what i was thinking and she would build out a proposal with a model of each room showing the furniture she had selected with the rugs, wall colors, lighting, etc. and throughout the entire project she nailed everything and within my budget. I cant imagine working with anyone else because she treats her projects and customers like as if it were for herself which makes her and her team a class act along with being relentless on making sure in every step in the process she is providing you what you are wanting. In my eyes Kirby is just getting started because with her work ethic, motivation, drive, and designing taste she most likely one day be nationally recognized. Thank you Kirby and your entire team.

Oh wow, where do I start? If you’re thinking of hiring an interior designer, don’t think any further! Kirby is your person! I contacted her through Houzz and wanted her to take care of furnishing our new home. Kirby and Emily came and measured every room and I just sat back and watched the process. It was very relaxing to have professionals who were there to listen to all the details and bring it to life. If you look at my house now, you can see how Kirby took each and every one of my inspiration pictures and somehow brought it all together. I can’t thank her enough for giving me a beautiful home that brings a smile to my face every single day! During this whole process, she definitely respected our budget. My only regret was not contacting her sooner and waiting until it was closer to our move in day. From initial furniture layout proposals to finding furniture to ordering it and getting it installed, the process takes time. So I suggest that you start the process at least 3-4 months before your move in date. Overall, we had a fantastic experience with Kirby and we will definitely work with her again if we need any designing services in the future!

KHD made our home building process so much easier than what it possibly could have been. I would recommend Kirby to anyone. From home design to furniture selections, KHD made the process so much easier and stress free than we were originally anticipating. If we were to ever build again, we will be contacting Kirby.

Everything Kirby purports in her marketing is absolutely true. She walks her talk. The transformation she helped create in our kitchen, living room, entry way and dining, was nothing short of amazing. She honed in on what our preferences were and created a design that melded well with the rest of our home. She was masterful with her selections, keeping us within our budget. She was very responsive and communicated clearly every step of the way. What a gift she is! We feel like we have a new home, even though it is 36 years old. Not only do we have a beautiful space to live in, we now have a space that gives us a feeling of peace, contentment, and new found pride in our home. Selecting Kirby as our designer is one of the best decisions we made in our renovation project. We are so thankful we chose her!

Amazing!! We remodeled our main living spaces: kitchen, living room, formal dining & powder bath. Every space and pretty much every inch of detail was more beautiful (and functional) than we could have ever imagined. She provides these wonderful mood boards which allow you to really understand the vision and how the new space will look beforehand. Our builder brought in Kirby to help with design selections for our new home. The guidance she provided made us realize that we wanted her expertise on selecting new furniture for our house as well. Her recommendations were all amazing and friendly to our budget. She then ordered everything for us and has tracked and kept us updated along the way. The furniture ships to her and then she handles setting it up in our home. It is stressful building a home. Having Kirby there to help us through every step has been a godsend. Kirby has been excellent in making our new house feel like a home. She helped us to resituate furniture we already had while adding new furniture and fixtures to all focal points in our home. This is our first experience with a home design professional. We selected Kirby Home Designs after meeting several competitors. Other than carpet selection, we completely replaced all furniture with the selection of all new pieces in our den. Kirby listened to our needs and desires and provided a clear and complete design. She assisted with selection of fabrics and pieces at the retail store we used, and was present during the delivery of the furniture. During the process she was easily available for questions and input. The estimate of costs was accurate. We have a side table that has a poorly fitting door, we are awaiting response from the furniture store to adjust this. Overall this was a very positive experience for us and we are quite pleased with our new den!

We just completed another project with Kirby Home Designs and couldn't be happier! We love our new custom Massoud chairs and the new Master Bedroom is fantastic!! We look forward to our next project with KHD!

I was introduced to Kirby through a friend of mine who worked with Kirby on a bathroom remodel. Our project was to simply update our living room flooring and furniture to make it more inviting and functional. Kirby was excellent at asking questions about our needs and desires. She listened to what we said and created a wonderful interactive mood board so we could visualize what she was suggesting. Kirby was always professional, cheerful and on time. Well I must say, I was very surprised at how smooth and beautiful our project turned out! I was very nervous using a designer for the first time. You can never be sure you’ve chosen the right person, but with Kirby that was evident right away! She truly has a passion for design and is so organized from beginning to end.
