We worked with Kitty and Company on a large home remodel and addition project and were very satisfied. The team worked hard to help clarify our vision and the end product was even better than we could have imagined. We would definitely use Kitty and Company again in the future and would highly recommend them.

I reconnected with Kitty this past year to help me with updating our main floor in terms of new paint colors, furniture selection and arrangement, and accent pieces. Kitty had originally helped me with this space when it was renovated in 2012. Once again she listened to my interests, style preference, and budget. The ideas she had for working with furniture pieces I was keeping were perfect and brought more warmth and timliness to the space. One of my favorite parts of working with Kitty was her using accent pieces I had purchased during this process from HomeGoods and spending a morning in collaboration with me placing them in locations using her creative vision. I appreciated Kitty makling recommendations in terms of changes with items I had and was keeping such as reupholestering chair cushions, repotting plants in different pots, and using books as decorativre pieces. I would highly recommednd Kitty andf her staff. Her ability to listen to preferences and capture what she hears into offerings that capture an indivuidual's prefernce for their home is exemplary!

Kitty nailed our style in her designs! We learned to trust her choices and could not be happier with the results. She also hooked us up with the best subcontractors every step of the way, and we are so pleased with the quality of the work.

Kitty was amazing! A neighbor recommended her. I do not know much about decorating. We had not done much in our house for the 20 years we have lived here. She helped us choose paint colors and wallpaper, update the furniture and bathroom, choose pictures and frames, set up appointments with contractors... She often used what we already had but in rearranging things it gave the room a whole new look. She worked hard to find what worked well in our home and was able to recommend things that my husband and I loved. She was especially patient in that neither my husband or I had any real ideas of what we wanted. She was very pleasant and listened to our ideas and answered our questions. She was available to give advice via email. I am so pleased! My home is warm and inviting now. My friends and family love the changes! I would highly recommend Kitty!

Our complete kitchen and space remodel was a project that I've been putting off for many years because I knew it would be one of the most challenging projects I would ever take on. Living and operating an "at home business" during this process was just the start. It was also Covid too. Kitty & Co. has professionally used my business services over the years and the experience of witnessing her client interaction besides seeing the end results showed me Kitty & Co was going to make this a more pleasant experience. Starting from the initial meeting to discuss design and material ideas, budgets, wants and needs for the space, Kitty was very proficient with what I would say is the most important step. She listens very well and is patient. I never felt we were using too much of her time while we presented all our wants and needs to build the perfect kitchen. Quick to add why an idea is good but she is also confident to say that in her experience you really don't want to do that. Hard to be told you are wrong sometimes but trust me you DO want someone that can better visualize a redesign kitchen space idea and just tell you it may look pretty on Pinterest but it won't function properly. Our approach was to tell Kitty everything we wanted but we quickly learned it is also highly recommended telling Kitty everything you don't like about your current space. From that moment on the ideas and options she presented us opened a whole new spacious design world we never considered. She was able to take the confinement of a main side entrance directly to our home through the kitchen, the ability to only sit 4 people in our kitchen/dining space and the the claustrophobic feel you get in your kitchen with more than just yourself and give us the ability to have 4 people sit at kitchen peninsula bar, 6 sit at a dining table and I can cook, entertain and relax in my kitchen without feeling stressed and confined. She achieved all that without tearing down a wall to give us more kitchen square footage. Plus we have more cabinet storage space than ever. Everyday we use our kitchen space, we are extremely grateful we used Kitty & Co. to place our kitchen "in a better class" than we could have ever imagined. One other positive that came from a negative, we had a small hiccup of receiving the wrong materials for one of the steps including it being installed. Upon realizing the mistake Kitty & Co. had no issues honoring what we originally wanted (even though the variation was subtle) and took care of it as quickly as possible. While we all want everything to go and be perfect I feel it's more impressive how someone handles an issue that is not and Kitty & Co. did. Bravo!!!

We worked with Kitty and her team on multiple projects. Most notably, they designed our new, studs-out kitchen remodel. This turned out spectacularly, and got rave reviews when we sold our house. We loved living in it and were sad to leave it. Our contractor for that job mentioned that the spec sheet he got from Kitty was the most complete and easiest to work with that he'd seen in years, and he began recommending her to other clients as well. Kitty is not the cheapest, but you are definitely getting a top-notch designer for what should be a great investment.

I could not recommend Kitty and her team more highly! We have just completed a major first floor renovation that was somewhat complex -- kitchen, taking down walls, creating a new mudroom, hardwood throughout, etc. Kitty was an essential member of the team, making some of the trickiest design choices work seamlessly. Given some of the things we wanted -- to keep some of our original maple kitchen cabinetry, to go with Pewabic tile in the kitchen, and to fill the space with warmth and richness -- and our love for old furniture and color, I was nervous that we would find a designer who was pushing us toward some of the contemporary white/gray/neutrals. But from the first moment Kitty came to walk through our home, I knew she was the right fit. She carefully observed our furniture, our art, and us. She asked lots of questions about us, the way we live, and what we were wanting out of our renovation. Kitty was very quickly able to figure out our preferences - even when my husband's and mine differed -- and create recommendations that knocked it out of the park. I'm confident that Kitty could work in any style -- where she excelled was in learning about us, watching what we responded to, and then building a design plan around that. I loved working with her and absolutely recommend her!

We worked with Kitty and her team for our new construction project. They are wonderful to work with. Kitty designed the many custom built-ins (shelving/cabinet layouts, fireplaces, etc) in our home and they are fantastic--both functional and beautiful to look at. She listened to us, understood our aesthetic vision, and made it all come to fruition including furnishings, paint colors, floor and window coverings, she does it all! We get glowing compliments from all of our guests. We are extremely happy in our new home, and very grateful everyday that we worked with Kitty and Company. Highly recommend!

We hired Kitty and Company to design and help us with our kitchen remodel. We were very pleased with her design and assistance with choosing our colors and materials. She was there to help us sort through all the decisions as they needed to be done. We would and have recommended her Company!

We contacted Kitty & Company when we were starting the remodel of our kitchen/dining room/great room/hallway area. We wanted a couple walls removed, a large window removed and all new flooring, new railing around the stairway and new paint colors. We had decided on a few things we really wanted which Kitty took into account. She designed the layout of the new kitchen with the walls and window removed and found colors, back splash tiles, textiles and paint that made everything really shine together. She also found great lighting, ceiling fan, area rugs, dining table and chairs and railings that we’re delighted with. We couldn’t be more pleased with the end product and love all the compliments we receive. The best part is how well it all functions.

Kitty was very professional, had great ideas, and kept me on the path to a consistent design. She brought interesting suppliers to the table and helped me understand how the choices would look. She also understood and explained the cost of various choices and recommended good places to spend a little more while offsetting with cost efficient solutions in other areas. Overall, it was a very collaborative process blending my likes with her professional skills and ideas. I am happy to recommend Kitty and Company and have already done so to several friends. Note: I'm not sure how to fill in the Project Cost section. The bathroom remodel was more than $10k, but Kitty's part of that was between $1000 and $2000. Worth every penny.

I highly recommend Kitty & Company. Kitty Golding created a beautiful design for a new fireplace, which will be a focal point in our main living area, with drawing/specifications for our construction contractor. She advised on selections for stone and tile selections for kitchen and bathroom remodel. She understood our style preferences, and her suggestions were very helpful in the final section of materials. Kitty is knowledgeable, responsive and she is delightful to work with. I will use her design services again in the future and recommend her to family and friends.

Kitty and Company provided design consulting and plans for our master bedroom remodel project. Kitty was extremely helpful in achieving an exciting new look while creating a more efficient design. The plans were clear and concise and we would not hesitate to hire Kitty and Company for future projects.

Kitty & Co took a difficult basement finish-out and turned the space into an attractive, comfortable environment. Ceilings were low, the only outside light was from ceiling level glass block windows, and the stairs came down the center of the space. Kitty recommended a palette of colors that enhance the limited natural light and look great with the LED ceiling fixtures. Her selections for floor coverings are both attractive and functional. Because the bath would be both guest bath when entertaining and personal bath the rest of the time, we asked Kitty to develop an upscale look with designer plumbing and hardware, but with a modest budget. She accomplished both and our guests' comments are usually in the "WOW" range. Kitty was timely in preparing her recommendations, flexible in working with our preferences, and patient in explaining the basis for her designs. Because of that we asked for further assistance with creating a color palette for the upstairs that opened and warmed the space. We're finally getting everything out of boxes and will be seeking her assistance with mixing existing decorative items with new items to create the "look and feel" we want for our home. We enjoyed working with Kitty on our remodeling project. We hired Kitty to help us pick out custom tile for our kitchen backsplash. She worked hard to get us exactally what we wanted. She made repeated trips to the tile supplier and brought multiple samples until we found the perfect match. The end product is perfect!

Kitty is a wonderful, collaborative interior designer and I love working with her. I first hired Kitty in 2001 when we were building our custom home. She was involved with floor planning, paint, flooring, cabinetry. Her recommendations made a positive difference in how our home was done, as we had a difficult lot on which to build and therefore a limited footprint. She also provided a design concept with furniture, color scheme, fabrics, etc. Over the years I contacted her for several other projects - usually once a year or so, and they encompassed such things as repainting, drapery design and coordination with seamstress, wall art layout, more furniture, bedding/bedskirts, furniture layout, accessories, etc. Kitty is amazingly easy to work with. I have had experiences with two designers in the past where the designer forced ideas on me that I ultimately did not love. Kitty understands my design style and "gets" what I like in my coastal-style home. She is thoughtful, kind, collaborative and organized. She works around sentimental items that I have rather than turning her nose up at them. My home has Kitty's stamp all over it. I have referred her to others and she will be my designer for life!
