K Kong Designs is rooted in the belief that the client is the inspiration behind the design process. The homes we design are not a portrait of our design aesthetic: Instead, they reflect the personality of the owners. At K Kong Designs, listening and collaborating with clients is paramount to the success of each project. The end result is one that neither the client nor the designer can conceive alone.
In 2011, Kristin Kong established her Atlanta based design firm, K Kong Designs, after working for a large architectural firm for eight years. While she established herself as a top hospitality and multi-family interior designer, her true passion has always been designing homes.
Kristin graduated from Vanderbilt University, earning a degree in fine arts. She began her career as an assistant designer for a distinguished fashion company in New York. In 2003, Kristin graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with a BFA in Interior Design. Kristin is currently NCIDQ certified and a LEED accredited professional.
