We felt they took the time to understand our family’s needs and our desire to enjoy our home at its best . The team is extremely talented . We could not have achieved this result without them.

Krista and her team did a beautiful job with our new home in Juno Beach FL. It was a new construction of our family forever home and we couldn't be any happier. Krista + Home handled everything for us as we were not in FL for the majority of the construction. They coordinated with the builder, prepared detail cad plans, and kept in constant communication all the while maintaining a sunny disposition while having to manage COVID risk. But most of all, Krista's eye for design and her ability to see our vision is what made this project such a complete success. We highly recommend Krista + Home for your next project.

Krista and her team have given us not only a beautiful home, but just as importantly a beautiful experience. Because of the timing of our home purchase, during the pandemic, this could have been an especially difficult job. Krista made it much easier than we anticipated, much more comfortable than anticipated, and helped to reduce the stress of doing this at this time tremendously, That being said, we were concerned how everything would come together, and it is fabulous! My husband and I are extremely happy with our new home thanks to Krista and her design team. They were communicative and timely in all aspects of our project. We sold two homes with furniture but had a lot of "stuff" and artwork which they worked into all the NEW.......we had a new home built. They worked with us and the builder to make selections etc. that worked for us in every way. I found Krista's company on this site totally by accident......we were looking for a contemporary look which would still feel like home. We got it. While the project took us slightly over budget.....it did not break the bank. Outstanding!

Closets By Montecristo was invited by Krista and Fran to help them with their master bathroom and dressing room remodel at the 2019 Kips Bay Decorator Show House. We were excited to be invited by such a highly thought of local design firm. Krista designed the dressing area space and she had us manufacture and install it. We worked together on the materials used. Working with Krista + Home was a pleasure. Their team is very professional and friendly and their communication skills are excellent. Not all design firms would have been able to pull off this kind of project in the time given, they did it with grace and didn't miss a beat. We very much look forward to working with them again, hopefully on their next project!

I found Krista + Home after researching several different interior design companies. Her work looked beautiful and I was excited to meet with her to discuss hiring her and her team to complete our dream home. I explained to her that due to my husbands career, we would be traveling/living in another city for 6 plus months, she assured me that I was in the best hands and that it was better if we weren’t here because things would get done more efficiently and they wouldn’t be in the way of our everyday living. We had several in-depth conversations regarding my budget, my likes and dislikes and what I was expecting to get at the end of the project. Krista and Fran assured me that Krista + Home was the perfect designer for my wants and needs and that at the end of the project she would provide a white glove inspection herself and guaranteed complete satisfaction. Unfortunately this could not have been further from the truth. The lighting that was chosen for my home ( that yes I did approve but I am not a designer. That’s why I hired them) was damaged, too small for spaces, too big for spaces, ordered too many and some not up to the quality of what I was getting charged. In addition to that, they required me to pay for installation and removal of the lights numerous times even though they were damaged and improperly measured. Secondly, we discussed my budget on several occasions. A majority of the finishing items mostly including tile choices they chose for my contractor to install were way out of the budget we discussed and was not informed of that. Thankfully my contractor informed me (one of the many conversations I had with him) of the cost of the finishing items and had to go through and end up picking out all the tile myself that was in my budget. Which led to things not matching. They just wanted to get our “project of this scope” (in their words) done. My 100,000 dollar budget ( which they went way over) wasn’t that important to them. Thirdly, when I returned home I was appalled at the “finalized accessories”. It was evident they had gone through my closets to find old items that I had set aside to donate to goodwill and put them throughout my house. I had to hire someone else to shop and finish accessorizing since it was not done by their firm. Apparently we would have had to purchase an accessory and art package that starts at $10,000. So instead I just had all my old stuff from my old house everywhere. This obviously took more time and money from me even though I was assured the project would be completed. I tried to communicate with them on several different occasions to express my concerns and disappointment but was met with very little to no help with the situation. There are many more situations that did not go as they should have, spending the money that we did but I wanted to keep this as short as possible. Having spent a total of $ 200,000 ( that’s including our bill from the contractor which was 85,000) and my house not looking much different than when we started, I was extremely disappointed with my experience.

Working with Krista and Pam exceeded all my expectations, they really understood the look I was after, and hit the nail right on the head. There attention to detail was outstanding. They finished our home right down to our picture frames. World class experience !!! Thank you Krista and company !

We hired Krista to fully remodel our home and all I can say is WOW! She is truly the best out there and we have worked with many. Her dedication, vision, and attention to detail are amazing. From start to finish, the process was seamless and easy. We love walking into our home everyday because of the way Krista transformed it! It is everything we hoped it would be and more! Everything was completed when she said it would be and she didn't leave one detail unturned. The house is perfect and I would never use any other designer to do a house, she is truly the best! From the moment we saw her first presentation, we knew her style was unmatchable!

We did a complete renovation of our outdated condo so that we could live in it year round. After what seemed like an endless search trying to figure out where to begin with what I viewed as a multi phase renovation and design project I wanted to undertake in my home over the course of a few years, I finally came across Krista and her team and I am so glad I did. Right off the bat from our initial consultation and walk through, I knew she was someone I'd trust and feel comfortable with to bring my ideas to life. Unfortunately for her, I had spent endless hours researching and really focusing on what I wanted to do more so from a renovation/construction aspect and had given little to no thought on the design side. When Krista and team went over their design presentation that focused on design only for phase 1, it through me for a loop right before I was leaving the country for a month. Nonetheless, her initial suggestions were nearly spot on with what I was looking for and despite me probably being a terribly annoying client asking numerous questions as I was really just trying to sort out in my own mind what look I was going for and what would be practical for my particular use, she was more patient with me than I could have ever hoped, was quick to look into and offer alternative suggestions that worked, and in the end, I have a beautiful home that I never could have envisioned on my own. My only regret is that I did not have enough left in the budget that year to allow her to accessorize and really finish the look or to get started on the reno design, but I look forward to working with her again soon on the next phases for my dream home! Overall, the team is just a pleasure to deal with - they are friendly, responsive and efficient and they actually listen. The value is tremendous. Just try not to be such a controlling worry wart like me and just trust her team to bring your dreams to life with little stress at all! Thanks Krista!

Krista and her team literally transformed our downstairs great room and kitchen. After seeing some of her work at a friends house, we had the utmost trust in her and gave her complete control. She took the project over and ran it so efficiently (I didn't know a project could be run as efficiently as they ran it). They were in constant communication with us on how the project was going (and had any of our questions answered within a day...if not a few hours). There were very few (if any) hiccups which is unheard of on any house project. Every detail was so perfect...from the lighting fixtures, to the furniture, to the decor and art. We are so proud to show it off to friends and family and are dying to have people over. We absolutely LOVE our "new" house and can't wait to work with Krista and her team again!

As a kitchen and bath designer, I get to collaborate with a lot of interior designers on different projects. Krista is one of my favorites to work with! My wife and I purchased a new home in October, 2015 and our plan was to re-model, design, and paint the interior of the home. Our 12 year old Mediterranean holiday/winter home in Florida started to look tired and did not reflect our contemporary style. We had bought it four years ago as is from the previous owner. We chose Krista to manage the renovation and redesign after having done due diligence through Houzz and after several interviews with different designers. The enthusiasm and energy of Krista and her team and her transparency convinced us. Krista and her team had six month to do the renovation and redecoration after we had left for Europe and communication was only possible via email and conference calls. The result though has exceeded our expectations by far. The house has been taken to a completely new level and Krista understood our taste and translated it into a result which is simply phenomenal. While we were very much involved in choosing the material, furniture and accessories, there were hardly any occasions where we pushed back and asked them to come up with a different solution because what Krista showed us was right and we liked it. Krista did not try to implement her thing but listened and understood what we wanted. The home was ready in time for our return and we can still not believe our luck of having found Krista and for the wonderful job she has done.
