About Us

Kriste Michelini Interiors specializes in creating classic, modern interiors. We love to mix classic, timeless interiors with modern simplicity. We design well-edited spaces for our clients that are both beautiful as well as functional. Kriste Michelini formalized her design career in 2002, after three years in commercial real estate and 10 years in the software industry. She believes this corporate experience is a major benefit to her clients. She successfully controls deadlines and budgets with unbelievable organizational skills, and her greatest quality is her ability to listen to her clients needs and deliver beautiful results. She feels that these attributes are important to developing successful client relationships, which ultimately lead to creative and inspired design choices, and client satisfaction. Her passion for interior design has gained her respect throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. A wife and mother, Kriste understands the need for your home to be functional as well as beautiful. She is a UCLA graduate.

We’re submitting a rave review for Kriste Michelini Interior Design. We just completed an extensive remodel project, where Kriste and her staff were engaged from the beginning, to design and project lead the execution. Kriste made our wishes come true with a fresh, clean, modern design plan that refreshed our family home to suit our current lifestyle as empty nesters ready to socialize, travel, and enjoy more time at home than ever before. Kriste always showed up with an electric smile, solution to every request, and true design beauty that suits our Spanish style home. Our home is now transformed as a bright, elegant, and open space! She chose unique wall paper, cabinetry colors, light fixtures, tile, and flooring that delivers the “wow” factor we asked for! We can’t wait to invite family and friends over to dine and enjoy our new space with us. Thank you Kriste, Julez, Jackie, and Ramona!!!

Kriste and her team are creative, fun and have amazing attention to detail. They transformed an empty house into a beautifully furnished home. Didn’t bother them at all that the project was in Idaho. They truly care about delivering a great experience and product and upon completion, were as excited as we were for the big reveal. Kriste and the entire team at KMI were fantastic. Professional, direct and honest. They did what they said they would do and when they said it would be done it was. Extremely detail oriented and listened to what I wanted. My home and the design and change is fantastic, and its my style however created with Kriste and KMI expertece. I would recommend Kriste and her team over and over and give them the highest possible rating!

As a builder I rely on the accuracy of drawings and product specifications. They produce both to my satisfation. When the occasional unfooreseen problems arise Kriste and staff step up and help solve them as quickly and painlessly as possible. I am pleased to give my recommendation.

I've been working with Kriste and her team for almost 2 years, and always enjoy seeing their projects come to life. Her design is clean and sophisticated, without sacrificing comfort. Her programming process with the client is very thorough. It's fun to watch how versatile her projects can be, and how awesome each design turns out. Aside from being super easy to work with, Kriste is also one of the most organized and detail oriented designers I work with. Strong attention to detail in every job is standard for them, and it shows. I always enjoy meeting with her team as well. They're incredibly friendly, responsive and also easy to work with.
