Liz is a wonderful designer! I worked with her on two completely different projects, an upstate Adirondack house and a modern suburban townhouse. Both projects turned out beautifully. She is a pleasure to work with, most hardworking, totally professional and has wonderful design sense. She tracked down a lost delivery as if it was her own and refused to give up until it was found! I could not be happier. Do not hesitate to work with her, she is the best!

Liz is an amazing designer and teammate!! We just completed our fourth project with her and over the course of the last four years, she has transformed our home! We started out with a house and now we have a home!! Liz is an attentive listener and works really hard to understand your style, but also keeps it honest about how your ideas and budget. Liz is amazing! She was instrumental in helping me get my new construction home put together so that it all flowed flawlessly. She listens to the client and what you want and follows through with it. I have worked with Liz for over 15 years on three different projects. The first was a 5000 sq feet new construction lake home in upstate New York, then a 2700 sq feet New York City apartment in a Pre War building and now currently a 3000 sq feet Modern Condo on a golf course in Florida. Each project had it's unique style and Liz nailed each one perfectly!!! Liz is thoughtful, resourceful, knowledgeable with a keen eye for style. She has great relationships with vendors and her first priority is to represent her clients. I hired Liz and L.A. Design to help us decorate and furnish an entire 5 bedroom 7000 square foot vacation house. Liz's design, scale and creativity were amazing and I could not have survived the process without her. Her sense of color and scale were perfect. Her planning and timing were impeccable, her sourcing of local artisans to add that extra special touch added just the right finish. She arrange to have all the finished goods shipped to a storage unit, so that when the contractor was done with building the house, everything could be moved in and set up right away. Liz worked with all the suppliers constantly to make sure the lighting, tilework in the kitchen and bathrooms, and everything else was perfect. We've had the house for 5 years now, and everytime we use it, we marvel at how perfect it is and how we wouldn't change a thing. I couldn't say this if it wasn't for Liz. I would recommend her with the highest of praise!

I worked with owner of company on a 2+ year new construction project located lakeside in upstate NY. She came highly recommended from a co-worker of my husband. The project was my first experience with new construction and my husband and I needed guidance in putting together the elements of the style that we wanted in the home. We had general idea of a modern feeling that was both sophisticated for our life style but child friendly for our grandchildren. We engaged Liz to help us to pull together all the necessary components to meet our dream. Now that our home is completed we are just thrilled with the end result. Our home is definitely a WOW and we could not have accomplished it without Liz. Experience & Knowledge: Liz studied Interior Design at a well known school and has run her interior design company for several years. Prior to the start of the project, she provided a portfolio of past projects. It was very impressive and provided us a glimpse of her talents. During our work together, she always laid out the goals and expectations to avoid any misunderstandings. Given the magnitude of the job and our busy schedules, we found it helpful to concentrate of specific areas such as bathrooms, lighting, kitchen, etc. Liz always kept us focused and then made sure our decisions worked into the design and feel of the house and complimented each other. Liz is very skilled in guiding you to decisions but not making them for you. She also has a wide assortment of sources but will also research additional sources. She was also very receptive to sources that I would bring to the project. Budget: Cost for her services is provided prior to the start of job. Each invoice submitted for her services always were clear and descriptive. As for furniture and other items, she always discussed our budget and made sure that we agreed before purchasing. Many times we redid our plans to fit into our budget. She always generated a Sales Order for us to sign and approve before making any purchases. For such a large project, there was never a conflict or an unexpected cost. Professional relationship: Liz is very enjoyable to work with on a project. She is very calm and very confident in her knowledge. Once we spent a whole day sourcing fabric for the great room. I got home with all the samples and saw an uncoordinated mess. Liz came and patiently started to sort and put together the pieces which resulted in two great palettes for us to select. It was just marvelous how she put it together. We selected one of the palettes and just love it. The project required coordination of design with our contractor. This is an important relationship for success but very often doesn’t work. Our contractor was very skeptical when we informed him that an interior designer will be brought into the project. At the end of the project, he always wanted to get her input before we finalized anything. He highly respects her and it was her working style that did it. My husband said her best quality is that she really listens to her clients and make their taste look good. Overall, I really would recommend this firm. I love my house and could not have done it without Liz. We get multiple compliments on the house and lots of WOWS.

I hired L.A. Design to assist me with room layout design, paint color selections and custom furniture design. Liz is a true professional who met all of her project completion dates and all of the people working with her are perfectionists. She has an amazing eye and made my interior design vision come to life. She also helped me avoid making some poor choices when it came to finish and furniture selections that would not have worked in my dining room, saving me a lot of money. Highly recommend her!
