Lady of the HOUSE interior design

Lauren was wonderful to work with! She listened to what I told her, encouraged me out of my comfort zone and I love what she did with my home. I have worked with other design professionals in the past and Lauren far surpassed the others. She set regular appointments, was responsive to emails, texts and phone calls and always stayed very calm and positive. I will always recommend Lauren to friends and colleagues. Lauren is very detail oriented and a delight to work with!!

We have nothing but amazing things to say about Lady of the House Interior Design...I would and do recommend Lauren's services to all of my friends and family! We contacted Lauren to help us update the main floor as well as the basement in our home. Having worked with designers in the past, I knew from the moment that I met Lauren that we had made the right choice in calling her. The ideas she presented incorporated all of our wants and needs as a family...the design was not only beautiful and modern, but also functional for our busy and young family. Lauren was willing to take existing pieces that we already had and work them into our space into a new way to create a completely new feel. New purchases and suggestions were always well within our price range which we loved! Now after the project has ended, we are still amazed at how lovely our home actually is! Anyone who comes to our house for the first time always comments on the design and how beautiful it is...it really looks like it came out of a magazine! Lauren Harp is an amazing person and an extremely talented designer. We will definitely use her services in the future when a need arises. I would whole heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for design services no matter how big or small!

Lauren did an excellent job in helping me decide on color scheme and some detail pieces for our new living room. She is a fun energetic, professional person. Im excited to get started!!

I have known Lauren for almost a decade as both colleague and client. We have spent hundreds of hours working on projects together. She has the most incredible eye for color, like no other designer I know. Some of the things she comes up with gives me goose bumps! She is just amazing. That's why when I found out I was expecting my first baby she was one of the first to know! Because I needed her designer eye in my (non-yellow!) unisex nursery! Now I'm expecting number 2 and my nursery is still current and ready for a new baby. She really does have a special touch and can add so much to a project that I, as a designer myself, couldnt think of. myself.

I hired Lady of the House to remodel my kitchen and two bathrooms. Unfortunately, my husband was transferred to a job out of state in the middle of the remodel. Lauren became not only my designer but also our general contractor. She did everything from hiring painters to coming to our house and staying while the tiles were being laid. She truly went above and beyond! I feel like my bathroom is now a spa retreat. My kitchen is updated but still fits in with the style of the rest of the house and fits my personal aesthetic. She amazing!

Lauren did a wonderful job, esp when we had to change the deadline of our nursery project when my son was born premature. She was always very prompt, very receptive to my ideas, and respected our budget. She was a pleasure to work with and I would definitely hire again for future projects.

We have a screened porch that needed redecorating. We had a few things that we knew we wanted to do but we had been unable to bring everything together, so we asked Lauren to help us. She first met with us and got a sense of our "style." She then came up with a space plan that maximized the available space while meeting our needs for dining, entertaining, etc.. She suggested that we put an acid stain on the concrete floor, using a contractor that she recommended - something that we would never have thought of which looks absolutely beautiful. She gave us suggestions for rug, furniture, fabrics and a new ceiling fan. She shopped with us for table and chairs, procured fabric for cushions and pillows, and had the cushions and pillows made by a seamstress that she works with. The end result is "casually elegant" which is exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend Lauren.

Lauren is absolutely wonderful. She has such a good eye and came up with the greatest ideas that I never would have thought of! Everything looks picture perfect and is super comfortable and functional. She was SO helpful and even went shopping for me! Having her made the project so much less stressful!

Lauren is an interior design genius! She has an eye for beautiful things and seems to have endless ideas and concepts of how to make things look great and function efficiently. I was able to describe to Lauren all of my visions for my new home and she used my ideas along with her vision to create a beautiful concept for colors and patterns throughout. Lauren is amazing! I had thoughts and ideas for our new home, but no way to make them a reality. Her ability to understand our vision and put it to life is simply amazing. She's so positive and encouraging! The thought of starting with a blank new house had me completely overwhelmed and not sure which direction to turn or where to start. After our first conversation about our new home I was beyond excited and that overwhelmed feeling was long gone. I am in love with the results! She helped us achieve exactly what we were going for. My husband and I needed help decorating our new house. We had ideas of how we wanted to decorate but needed help pulling everything together. We heard of Lady of the House through a friend and decided on the E-design service. Lauren came to our house first for a consultation which we would also recommend. We had a great experience. She really took the time to understand our style and portray that in our design. She was also prompt getting everything back to us. The design was extremely detailed down to the coasters to purchase. She was also very helpful and willing to adapt the design if need be. We struggled to fine a few items and she searched long and hard to help us find it. We are still in the middle of putting things together but I would highly recommend her services. I definitely plan on using her again in the future!!
