I have a condo in Dallas but live in Chicago. It was time to update the condo and I needed someone to carefully pick out paint and cabinet colors in my absence. Jodi provided a complete package with links to all color and accessory choices. She even painted a sample on the walls and cabinet and came back to the condo in the morning and evening hours to make sure the color looked good in various lighting since I expressed concern that my condo received very little natural light. It was this extra touch that made me hire Jodi a second time. This time my condo flooded and I needed new flooring. She again picked out wood floors, tiles, paint, and accessories. She was careful to choose items that were in stock since there are supply chain issues and time was of the essence. When I was getting conflicting information from contractors and the flooring company, she provided education to guide me during this stressful time. I greatly appreciate her kindness, patience, attention to detail and style.

After over 10 years of love and updates, I felt it was time to sell my house to start a new career. My realtor recommended Jodi. She was responsive and worked quickly to meet my short timeframe. At the consultation, we shared our ideas for staging options, and she worked with me to develop a staging plan for key rooms. At no time did I feel pressured to purchase extra services beyond what I was looking for, and she offered a reasonable one-time price for staging that covered the full listing period. Within the next couple days, she arranged for her movers to transport her selected pieces to the house. The final product gave the house a warm, welcoming feel and helped the rooms appear more spacious. She did all of this within a few days of my initial contact to ensure that we were ready in time for open house. We got lots of positive feedback from potential buyers about how cute the house looked! Jodi also demonstrated service and professionalism whenever any issues arose. For instance, I noticed a musty smell after the staging was completed and notified Jodi. She agreed that if an air freshener didn’t help, she would come by to wipe down the furniture again to make sure that wasn’t the source of the issue. Toward the end of the process, while my house was nearing the closing date, Jodi reached out to coordinate the pick-up date for the staging items. She also assured me that if the sale did not go through for any reason, that restaging was already covered as part of the original fee. From start to finish, I felt like Jodi really valued me and prioritized my goals as her client. She even congratulated me on the closing date, which was a really thoughtful added touch. My house sold for $20k more than the original list price within 40 days on the market (wow!). I am confident that her creative, client-focused solutions provided the finishing touch my house needed for a successful sale!
