At Lark+Palm Interiors, we design for both the client's lifestyle and the architecture of the home, focusing on creating continuity among spaces. Mixing classic and modern elements with unexpected and personal touches throughout the space delivers a look that is anything but prescribed. Our goal with each project, no matter the size, is to create a bespoke look unique to the client and the space. We love to mix unexpected colors and patterns and subtly infuse elements that speak to the client's tastes, hobbies and personality, as well as the stage of life they are in. Equal to the emphasis of the creative process is the focus we place on the financial and organizational side of the projects we work on, both with furnishings and renovations. At Lark+Palm Interiors, we work with our clients, architects and general contractors to develop comprehensive budgets, timelines and material schedules. Having a firm grasp of the process helps our clients feel comfortable, allowing for a truly enjoyable experience. Communication and transparency are at the center of our relationships with our clients. Lark and Palm are incredibly creative and innovative. Their taste level is over the top, yet they understand how to create and design a space that is appropriate for the home. They communicate well during the process. They are quick, thorough and are pros at what they do. They designed an exciting, well-thought out home remodel for us, and we love it!

Ansley and Stephanie's billable hours/charges were extraordinary for the value delivered. (We had been warned about this by one of their references before we hired them, but were still surprised). They also made several errors, I believe from lack of experience, including sourcing the wrong size furniture and providing incorrect CAD drawings to the furniture maker (there were several others as well). Also unfortunately, they did not pay for any portion of the cost it took to correct these mistakes, including having a bench remade by the furniture maker. Ultimately, my husband and I were disappointed in their lack of experience, judgment, and professionalism. (Editing to just say that I just read the response by lark & palm and am sorry to read the .very misleading and untrue statements. Lark&palm CAD drawings were incorrect. Everyone in the business who saw them confirmed this. We used a reputable cabinet maker that we chose- I believe because because lake & palm didn't have one they knew at the time- and he is at the top of his trade.)

Hi Allison -- We worked together several years ago, after you had worked with two other designers. We were no longer working with you when you executed the custom furniture you reference. Had we been involved in the project, and had something gone wrong under our supervision, we would have fixed it and made it right. That said, we cannot be held responsible for a cabinet maker you hired and oversaw to execute a custom piece. We provide complete transparency into our process, how we bill and the time it takes to do the work. We don't have insight into how long it will take clients to make decisions as each project is different. We stand behind our work and the effort and attention we gave to you and your project. We wish you all the best!

I highly recommend Lark + Palm! My family and I recently moved into new home while I was pregnant with my second child. I was in a rush to have home completed by the time the baby was born, which left us with 4 months to work with for the whole house. Lark + Palm worked incredibly efficiently and came up with beautiful home design, beyond anything I could have hoped for. They worked with us on our budget and were flexible in our choosing or rejecting items. They made the process so easy. They are incredibly professional and organized. And they are very responsive, which was so key in aiding my project timeline. In addition, they are truly creative and have a modern but not too trendy/mainstream style. My home feels very unique and does not have that cookie-cutter store bought appearance. In addition the quality of items chosen are excellent and several items were kid friendly to aid with my growing family. I know several pieces will stay with our family for our lifetime. And so to summarize they did not just capture our vision but they elevated it. I am so grateful to their team. You will not go wrong choosing them to style your design space.

When I decide to hire any "consultant" I always look for solid communication and talent. Lark and Palm display both. Solid communicators and super tasteful designers. My project was (surprise) California "organic modern" and involved a complete gut of a 2,100 sq ft. Kentfield home. Lark & Palm served as complete overseer. I didn't even need an architect as L&P handled all drafting and the hiring of engineering specialists. I saved a lot of money doing it this way and got a better result b/c they went deep on usability. They even helped a ton on landscaping decisions. What I appreciated most working with Ansley and Stephanie was their ability to set my expectations on price, timing and the tradeoffs between various design approaches. Thank you for a fun process and a beautiful outcome.
