Laura Archibald Interior Design

Laura is a triple threat designer. Her design skills and eye are outstanding. She runs her business in a very organized and professional manner. And she is great fun to work with! Over the past year Laura has helped me redesign a large percentage of the interior of my home. She has been both attuned to my vision AND been a great partner in pushing me just enough beyond my comfort zone on some decisions to ensure that we are meeting that vision.

Laura is a true professional, and also a wonderful person. She is very knowledgeable about traditional, transitional and modern design. We met on several occasions before work started, so Laura could figure out my style, and the best way to configure my house during/after an extensive renovation. She even found ways to keep a lot of my furniture, but she was also honest, and let me know what items had been well used, and it was time to let them go. I have been working with Laura for nearly 2 years, as she started helping with the plans for the renovation, and was involved in every aspect of construction (counter tops, cabinets, backsplashes, tile and wood floors, fixtures, hardware, lighting, paint colors) and has continued now to decorating (wallpaper, fabrics, rugs, drapery, furniture placement, furniture, accessories, art). We are not finished yet, but there is no one else I can imagine navigating me through this process, nor anyone I would trust more, to do the job properly.
