When we went from a small condo to our "forever home," I was overwhelmed by everything. I didn't know what furniture to buy, colors to choose, etc. Thankfully, Laura and her wonderfully talented team came to the rescue. I will be the first to admit that I'm a difficult client - I don't know anything about design, I couldn't articulate what I liked/disliked, and I was constantly filled with anxiety about selecting the "wrong" thing and changing my mind constantly. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Laura and Ellen for their patience, guidance, and advice as they taught me about design, flooring, drapery, window treatments, fabrics, and décor. They completely transformed our Master Suite into a cozy but glamorous retreat that we will enjoy for years to come. Laura is extremely good with budgets. She knows what items to splurge on to really make a room shine and what items can be purchased at retail to save money but also look great. Laura and Ellen also worked to incorporate personal touches into the design. My love of birdwatching, his love of sci-fi, the place we got engaged - all expertly incorporated into design elements that made it feel special and just for us. Laura is a very talented designer. Her experience, organization, and love for design have been a vital component to completing my home. She is very knowledgeable about the construction process and this was helpful since we were building a new construction single family home. Her input on finishes and selections has been very important. I was looking for a designer to help pull out my personal tastes. This is exactly what Laura was able to accomplish for me. I had a lot of different styles and tastes that I liked. Laura was able to funnel those into an organized and comprehensive design. Simply put, I would have been lost with out her. I highly recommend Laura and her team. They were very professional and organized at every point in the process. From initial consults, to design, construction, materials, staging and final presentation. Any issues that we experienced (even ones that were out of Laura’s control) Laura and her team have gone above and beyond to make us happy. It was a fantastic experience working with Laura. I wanted to update most of the rooms in my home. I was not sure what I wanted. But Laura did. With my busy schedule she was very flex to meet my schedule.
