About Us

Laura Jones & Company is a full service interior design firm focused on the whole project concept. We would love to be there during the dreaming stage all the way through the realization phase. We offer a classic, fresh approach to interior design. We also have a constantly changing showroom from which we resource furniture, home accessories and garden design elements that speak casual elegance with an acquired look! A native of Summerville, Laura has been involved with the interior design trade since 1991. She attended the College of Charleston, majoring in Business with a keen interest in design and architecture. It was at the end of 2007 when Laura started Laura Jones & Company, LLC with a focus on her custom design projects. Her focus is on residential design with a specialty in renovations and evaluations. She also has undertaken some special commercial projects, including restaurants and medical offices. Her projects have been published in several national and local home interior magazines.

I was looking for a interior designer to revise a floor plan for a new construction . They requested dimensions for furniture that I wanted to be sure would fit. I also had some architectural elements that I needed to place. We discussed my lifestyle and wants, etc. I wanted to be sure doors and walkways were appropriate for aging in place. They listening carefully and asked questions to better understand my dream. Our second and final appointment, I viewed their ideas and they were right on the mark. Space was functional, balanced and will work with our lifestyle. Now I feel comfortable presenting this to the builder and I expect no major surprises.

Laura and her daughter Caroline did an excellent job for my husband and me when we moved into our downsized home this past summer. I wanted a Coastal Contemporary look, which was completely different than what I had in my old house, but Laura managed to pull it off beautifully with the budget I gave her to work with. I know it wasn't easy to do but it turned out beautiful and JUST what I wanted. I would highly recommend Laura and Company for any of your decorating needs.....big or small job, she has a great eye and is a good listener and communicator.

It was a pleasure working with Laura and Caroline, of Laura Jones and Company. Their design for my home transformed an asymmetrical 1980’s family room into a warm, fresh living space, incorporating cherished family heirloom pieces with new, comfortable furnishings. They addressed my “wish list” within a reasonable budget, consulting with me throughout the process to ensure the design was pleasing before proceeding along. The local craftsmen that were referred by them were excellent in quality of work and production time. This mother-daughter team put me at ease from our first meeting and graciously worked around my schedule. I love the look and feel of my “new” room, and plan to engage these talented professionals again!

Laura and her daughter,Caroline, are a dynamic designing duo. Their skill sets complimented each other's while totally renovating my master bath, bedroom and powder room. Amazingly, Laura is gifted at plugging into your personality and tastes thus coming up with ideas that you were unable to put into words. Laura and Caroline listen to your needs, likes, dislikes and the end result is unique and exciting.......beyond your expectations. I highly recommend these designers.
