I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Laura as the Architect on one of her homes. Not only did she bring exciting concepts and thoughts to the table, but had the follow through with picking subtle, elegant finishes that tied the whole project together. I look forward to working with Laura again and can strongly recommend her.

Laura has an intuitive and innate talent for design unlike anyone I've ever known. I've used her for years and am always amazed by how she can pull together a situation with ease and impeccable taste. I have worked with other designers and there are several things that set her apart: She has a way of really tuning in to individual tastes and desires, while at the same time introducing her ideas to create a beautiful balance. Laura has a knowledge and passion for art and emphasizes it's importance when designing a space. She can also "feel" scale with furniture selections and notices subtile color differences. In fact I've called her a "color guru" many times! In summery, Laura draws from a deep well of knowledge, care & intuition that is hard to come by and cannot be taught in design schools.

I have been extremely pleased with Laura's knowledge and experience. I could not have done this on my own. She understands what works and what doesn't work. She first wants to know what kind of look you are wanting. For example, she knows that I want a home that has a very natural feel- like part of nature; so instead of a marble or Carrera she helped me pick out a beautiful belgium limestone. She is great with making everything flow just right- from the colors to the lighting to the furniture, and to the type of cabinetry, she makes sure it all works just right! Couldn't have done it without her!

Laura contacted me to make custom artwork for a client. She provided the appropriate information I needed to initiate the work. She conducted business in a very professional manner, and communication with her throughout the process was smooth as silk. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone.

I am so glad we came across Laura Roberts to help us with the design and decor of our new home! We are still in the building phase, but she has been with us almost from the beginning. She listens closely to our style and wishes, and also suggests things we never would have thought of otherwise...but which we end up really loving! I especially appreciated her input in our cabinet design, which I know is a headache. Plus, she has been flexible in finding times to meet with us despite our hectic schedules, whether on the job site, at coffee shops or in parking lots to go over samples and new developments so that we can keep the forward momentum going. On top of it all, she is truly a wonderful person and I enjoy our meetings a lot. She helps keep us positive and excited about our home-to-be and I can't wait to see the final product!

My husband and I hired Laura Roberts to furnish our mid-century modern home from top to bottom. We are very pleased with the results! Laura has an artist's eye when it comes to choosing colors and fabrics. In fact, she is often inspired by paintings when choosing color and has a great eye for art, offering advice when we went art shopping on our own and even recommending fantastic local artists and photographers for us to choose from. Our home is now both beautifully styled yet warm and inviting. Oh, the other thing is: when my husband and I first met with Laura, we just both talked at her for about an hour about what we wanted. And then, within a few sentences, she mirrored back to us exactly what we were looking for. So not only a great designer, but a good listener (but maybe that's why we are so satisfied with the final product!) We highly recommend Laura and her team. Her assistant Lily was also fantastic and offered many wonderful details.

I have worked with Laura Roberts on several design projects for my home and she is spectacular! She is not the typical "cookie cutter" designer. Her design skills stem from an education from the Chicago Art Institute and it shows... her taste is very sophiticated and elegant. I have hired her to decorate my living room, den, and most recently my home office. Guests are always commenting on how lovely and tranquil my home looks and feels. I even consulted with Laura when choosing an outdoor paint color for my home in Travis Heights!

I have worked with Laura since she first designed a nursery for my oldest daughter ten years ago. We have continued our professional relationship which includes redesign of kitchen, living room, bedrooms, family room, and play room suite including bathroom redesign. I have also consulted with her regarding outdoor design and art. I adore the home she has designed for me. It is truly lovely. My friends love to come here and say that my home is spa like. Laura brings beauty to everything she touches. And, she is such a pleasure to work with. We have become very good friends over these ten years as she has a beautiful, caring spirit.
