Lauren has been great to work with on a number of projects. I reached out to Lauren because I liked her updated, yet various styles in her Houzz portfolio. I had been in my traditional house for about 3 years and was finally ready to tackle our outdated basement and needed assistance with updating hall lighting throughout the entire house. Lauren listens and brings ideas and pulls it all together. I am sure the process would have been easier on her if I just let her do her thing and it would have turned out fabulous. But I wanted to be part of the design and it still turned out fabulous and more personal. The basement is exactly as I had hoped it would turn out. The updated hall lighting is too. We also spruced up the guest bath and selected a new stair runner. We are now working on my formal living room - which I want to be eclectic and personal and feminine. It is full of color and will serve as my office and ladies lounge for my daughter, our little dogs, and me. I catch my son and husband in there relaxing too at times. Last is final touches on our formal dining room. What I appreciate most about working with Lauren is her great style, eye for color, her willingness to listen, her flexibility to work beside her client or take complete control of the design project and her ability to design in multiple styles without losing her signature style of clean and fresh. I am writing this review to share how very happy I am with the recent consultation from Lauren Burns Interiors. We decided to update the color scheme for the inside of our home. I really wanted to be sure that we had a beautiful sequence of colors that we love. Lauren came and looked around and shared with me some wonderful color selections that have completely transformed our home. She really gets what I was trying to accomplish. The colors all look great! Lauren has previously decorated several other rooms in our home. Each of rooms that she has decorated have become our favorite rooms to spend time in and room that our guest love! I plan to work with Lauren to redecorate a few more rooms now that the painting is done... I can't wait! I just love Lauren’s style. Lauren worked with us to re-design our 2-story living room. We were looking for a transitional style with bold shapes and a combination of modern and more traditional pieces. It was a tricky, triangular space, and she made it look beautiful with new furniture, lighting, paint, and accessories. She also worked with a builder who re-built our drab fireplace into a two-story beauty that garnered many compliments and helped sell the house a year later. She had custom drapes and pillow cases made as well. We got her to help with other, smaller design projects later as well, like our master bedroom and choosing paint colors and art for other rooms. Her rates were very reasonable, and she was efficient with the number of hours she charged.

I hired Lauren after moving into a new “older” home. Coming from our previous home that was an open concept as well as transitional style, I was stuck. It was in need of a complete overhaul to feel like it matched my style and personality. Lauren was able to find unique pieces and fixtures that were eclectic and modern, yet still blended seamlessly with the very traditional home we had purchased. Cannot wait to finish up the project in the next 3-4 weeks!!!

Lauren was recommended to me by a friend when I moved and needed help with paint colors. She was amazing, picked the perfect combination of colors for our new home. When that was completed we realized we needed new furniture to fit our new space. Once again Lauren was on point with all her choices! I have loved all of her ideas. We hired Lauren right after we finished construction on our dream home. I was completely exhausted from the building process and was ready for someone to help us fill the empty space. Lauren immediately understood my design aesthetic and got to work transforming all of the main living areas. She has the ability to think outside the box while also being sensitive to budget! Our finished spaces were so amazing that we were lucky enough to be featured in a local magazine. Lauren is a super talented designer but she is just as lovely a person. I have enjoyed getting to know her and will continue to use her as we move to new areas of the house that still need her touch!

Lauren and her team are the BEST. We recently moved to NC from NYC and after a decade of apartment living, the thought of decorating a 5 BR house was completely overwhelming. Lauren got a perfect sense of our style after our first meeting and ran with it. Every paint color, carpet selection, furniture selection etc. is completely thought through and was just perfect. We plan to use her for many upcoming projects.

Over the last ten years, my wife and I have undertaken nearly continuous design projects on three homes across three states, working with multiple designers. We can, without reservation, give Lauren Burns our highest recommendation. Lauren's design sensibility is world class - like all the greats in their fields, she makes it look effortless, but we know reality is quite the contrary. Lauren is visionary, tireless and cares deeply for her clients. Indeed, she and her team will literally go to the ends of the Earth for her clients. As an example, after considering several dining head chair options, we fell in love with a particular chair - they were installed and we were thrilled with them. We then learned, only after the installation, that the chair had been discontinued and there was only one in the U.S. - working closely with the manufacturer, Lauren and her team located one other chair in the world . . . in Costa Rica. Without ever telling us of this significant hurdle, or asking us to consider selecting another chair, Lauren and her team purchased and arranged for delivery of the chair from Costa Rica, including personally going to the airport to see the chair through customs. We were blown away - Lauren's combination of brilliant design, tremendous service and personal investment is simply unparalleled.
