We hired Lauren Levant to re-design our home's first floor including the living room, kitchen, dining room, and laundry area. Her team's creative layout ideas transformed the formerly cramped interior into a flowing space that fits perfectly with our busy family's needs. Not only did they hit the mark in terms of functionality, but Lauren gave our house an elegant design aesthetic that still works with the day-to-day realities of a living home with two young kids and the piles of laundry, book bags, sports gear, etc., they generate!

After 30 years of marriage and raising four children, my husband and I sold our family home and moved into a smaller townhouse. We brought with us dozens of family pictures that told the story of our lives, as well as furniture and furnishings that were clearly out-dated. We needed to find someone who could appreciate and was willing to display our family's picture storybook, while also bringing us up to speed with current decorating trends. We had never blended the two and weren't entirely sure that any type of "custom" decor could possibly feel homey enough for us. My husband (the picture taker) was especially skeptical that we could find someone who could integrate the two worlds. We first met Lauren Levant through a mutual friend, and after an initial consultation where we explained our conundrum of preserving our memories while jettisoning into the world of current trends, she agreed to take charge of our project. It was a great match, right from the start. We listened to every one of her suggestions, agreed with most, and pushed back on others. She not only guided our decisions, but respected our desires and let us take the lead when we felt strongly about a product or process. She pushed us to consider furnishings and furniture that in our wildest dreams we could never have imagined. And in every instance, she was spot-on! The end result is nothing short of amazing! Our family and friends come to our home and can't believe the transformation. They recognize all of our personal touches from our previous home, but they are blown away at how we were able to mesh all of our precious memories with the beautiful decor in front of them. We were, in fact, able to blend the two and make our new house our home! And for that, we have Lauren to thank! Both Lauren and her staff were extremely easy to work with, timely with their responses, and diligent with meeting deadlines and budgets. Even my husband, who was a "Doubting Thomas" from the beginning, is extremely pleased with our new home. Our experience with Lauren, her assistant, Zia, and everyone involved in our project has exceeded our expectations and we are thrilled to show friends and family the fruits of their labor. We were looking forward to meeting with Lauren and expected her to be helpful, and she far exceeded our expectations. We recently moved into a new home & hired Lauren for a consultation. She was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. She provided aesthetic recommendations for each room including suggested spacing and dimensions for light fixtures and furniture. For bigger rooms or projects, Ms. Levant provided us with several options ranging from less to more expensive. Her input never came across as trivializing, and she always asked for our opinions. Beside her expertise and professionalism, she was a joy to be around, warm and funny. Highly recommend! We would love to work with her again.

Lauren and her team did a great job with our new kitchen.. We had a couple other designers look at our kitchen and they more or less recommended keeping our current floor plan with updated cabinets/countertops/appliances. Lauren came up with a unique design requiring a new peninsula and relocation of our kitchen sink and oven. The final design greatly increased counter space and storage. Lauren has great taste and helped us select paint choices and other finishes. We love the final product and could not be happier.

We sought out Lauren's advice to tackle a very challenging project. We needed a keen eye to help us meld both modern and elemental interior design into the large scale renovation of a former whiskey distillery on the banks of the Allegheny River. We could not have been happier with Lauren's collaborative skills, creative insights, commitment to the project, professionalism, and design. Lauren made herself available at all times and was on site regularly to discuss our project. Although at first hired to assist with kitchen and bathroom design only, Lauren was generous with her ideas in all facets of the interior design. Many of her suggestions were adapted by the architect and contractor as the project evolved, and the project was better for her input. Lauren also went out of her way to meet with us to figure out who we were and what would be the best reflection of us and our lifestyle throughout our home. Her collaborative nature includes listening and being intuitive. She was never so married to an idea that she wouldn't begin problem solving immediately if we had different preferences. Lauren quickly became an invaluable part of our team and earned the respect of everyone involved. We expect big things from Lauren in her future and feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her in designing our dream home. We would most definitely recommend her to anyone and would be delighted to work with her again.

My husband and I met with Lauren for an introductory design discussion, which was 2 hours in length. Lauren used the time to walk through our home and give suggestions, some global, such as adding a bath and some specific, such as color choices. She is very knowledgeable about our style and the changes that we would need to make.

I wanted to know the manufacturer of a beautiful medicine cabinet in one of her photos. Her Office Manager, Malina Suity, responded quickly and answered my questions. I am very pleased to be able to purchase these cabinets.
