We’ve had the pleasure of working with Lauren on two remodels—first our bathroom and then our kitchen. She took the time to really listen to our needs and design preferences, and her thoughtful approach ensured the finished spaces reflected exactly what we envisioned. Throughout both projects, she was flexible, highly communicative, and an excellent project manager, making the process smooth and stress-free. When an issue arose with one of the subcontractors, she was a true advocate on our behalf, stepping in as the go-between to make sure it was handled quickly and fairly. Her eye for detail, professionalism, and client-first approach make her an outstanding designer. We would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a trusted partner for their home projects.

I hired Lauren first as a color consultant to help pick out just the right paint colors for a home we recently moved into. She was very knowledgeable and helpful, so much so, that I hired her and her team to complete the projects I had in mind. We had our entire house painted, added wallpaper, trim, and beadboard to a few rooms, and switched out all of our lightbulbs to LEDs. Most of the work was done while our family was on vacation, and they kept in constant contact with me, communicating what was being done and when. We are absolutely thrilled with the finished products and I've continued to ask Lauren for her recommendations and expertise as I tackle a couple more projects. We highly recommend Lauren and her team!

Lauren took a chance on us and we gave her a run for a money, but boy did she deliver. I reached out to her in April for a project regarding a sorority house at UNC-Charlotte. She created such a welcoming and fun space for 100 college women to enjoy their chapter space. The members are in love with the final project. It’s fun and modern, and brings out their sorority colors perfectly. She was so communicative during the entire process and helpful with all of our questions. We couldn’t recommend her more!!!

Working with Lauren has changed our lives! I had not worked with a designer before, so I was not sure what to expect. Lauren exceeded all expectations and we will be working with her again and again. After meeting with her and speaking to multiple references who sang her praises, we decided to have Lauren redesign our office, manage the painting /wallpapering of our whole home, and update lighting and fixtures across the house. She works incredibly hard and cares deeply about her clients and their input. She also has an incredible, reliable, and diligent team of subcontractors to help execute all the work. The furnishings and fixtures she provided are high quality, reasonably priced, and have made our home feel like an incredible place. She was flexible and open to discussing any tweaks, and she was in constant contact with us as we worked through everything. Lauren and team even managed to complete just about everything while we were out of town--we trusted her completely and she delivered. We are already planning two other major projects and looking forward to an ongoing relationship. I highly recommend working with Lauren!

We just completed our second project with Lauren . The first was an update of three bedrooms along with two bathrooms. Like the second project , this required her to work in a team consisting of GC and architect and of course us. We were very pleased with the outcome of this first initiative with Lauren . The current project was more extensive in both structural changes and design components . If we had asked Lauren to independently run with the ball , she would have. Both my husband and I had thoughts on this current initiative, which by the way weren’t always on the same page. Lauren synthesized our sometimes divergent directions and presented a unified concept that we were both pleased with. From there , she ran shot gun over the team to execute our vision. As for the furnishings , she brought components for us to consider , we brought her components to consider. We always had final say but it never really got to that- we from our first couple meetings became very comfortable with each other - respected each other’s opinions and input but also deferred to each based on expertise or conviction . When humor and rolling eyes entered the equation it confirmed that our working relationships had a solid foundation Need to mention Lauren’s ability to operate within a budget. She did not present concepts or furnishings that ,although very nice , were outside our overall affordability. She was mindful that there was a common goals : style with expense guard rails. We are very proud of the outcome of this project . It absolutely could not have been achieved without Lauren’s expertise , creativity and team work. We would, without hesitation or reservation , recommend Lauren to partner with you on your next project

Lauren was a completely essential part of making our first floor renovation a success both logistically and aesthetically. Her eye for beautiful, functional pieces helped us curate a space that will no doubt grow with our family through each chapter and she was very talented at translating the style I had in my head into a living breathing reality. She was also an advocate for us every step of the way and helped to keep our project on track as we worked up against a firm deadline with the arrival of a new baby lining up with the end of our project timeline. She saved our sanity and made it look effortless even when I know it was not. We wouldn’t dream of taking on another project unless we had her on board.

We have known Lauren for a long time and when we needed a highly reputable and professional designer to help us with our custom dream home on the lake she was the first person that came to mind! Lauren has incredible vision and talent in the design field but more important than that she took the time to listen to our wants/dreams of creating a living space that brought the outside into the interior of our home in a sophisticated but practical way! Lauren went above and beyond to create our dream home! Lauren works very hard and is so well respected by all the partners she works with. Lauren runs her business with integrity and works very hard to ensure her clients are 100% satisfied.

We met Lauren in May 2024 through a referral. We had decided it was time to refresh our main level including the kitchen and half bath. We had already started the process with getting quotes for refinishing our wood floors and stoning our fireplace to the ceiling. We brought Lauren in to help with the design process. We liked her on the spot. She was very easy to talk to and down to earth. We liked that she took everything we wanted to do and combined it with her ideas. She was never pushy and was very professional every step of the way. We felt her prices were acceptable given the research and design work that went into the overall theme. We were very happy with all of the contractors she connected us with. All were very professional and timely with their work. As with any remodel there were a few bumps in the road with delayed deliveries of furniture, artwork, lighting and window treatments. I chalk that up to being very normal this day and age. Nothing is as timely as it once was. In the end everything came together beautifully and we couldn’t be more happy with the end result. We love how much brighter our space is and how everything flows nicely between rooms. We have gotten so many compliments from all of our friends and family. We would happily use Lauren again on a future project.

We worked with Lauren beginning in 2020. While we have loved the quality of her design work, beginning in 2023 we began experiencing significant problems. I invited her to help with a $40k project. We paid her a 60% deposit in May 2023 after making some furniture, rug and window treatment selections. We did not hear a peep from her for two months. Because we were concerned about her, we reached out to two of her vendors used on our previous projects, both indicating they had ended their professional relationship with her. After reaching out to her mother, we got some traction getting some of the work completed in August and November 2023, despite sporadic communication and commitment dates that came and went. Fast forward to August 2024, after empty commitments to complete the remaining 25% of work, we hired an attorney who assisted getting our remaining deposit returned in September 2024. While we have always loved her work and have spent a significant amount of money with her on previous projects, we are choosing to end our relationship with her based on her lack communication skills and inconsistent execution.

I paid Lauren a 60% deposit on Feb 1, 2024 for my project, which included furniture, draperies, decor for our bedroom, living room, and dining room. Lauren did not deliver within her 8-10 week timeframe as quoted and expected. I did have to involve at attorney to ensure we received part of the order and a refund for the rest, which occurred at the end of July 2024. Several key pieces were incorrect (wrong fabric, size, model, color). I do not recommend working with Lauren.

I hired Lauren Clement, of Lauren Nicole Designs, to do a complete house renovation on our 25-year old home. While it was a very daunting project to undertake, Lauren put me at ease from the start. Both the general contractor and all of the subcontractors were wonderful to work with. Lauren functioned as both the project coordinator and interior design lead. She did a fantastic job pulling it all together, from the contractor’s side, down to the picking of fabrics and new furniture and fixtures. Lauren was very hands on and accompanied me to off-site locations to assist in the selection of certain vendor items needed for the renovation. Lauren also provided picture collages for each of the rooms with different furniture options for me to select my style. We were extremely pleased with the final result. We did the renovation planning to stay there another 7-10 years and enjoy a beautiful new space. Life had other plans, and we sold our house a little over a year after the completion of the project. Our home sold in less than 24 hours, well over the asking price. We received several compliments from both perspective buyers and real estate agents that this was one of the best presented homes they had seen. I have no doubt, from all the input that was received during our showings, that what Lauren did on our project had a huge impact on our very successful sale.

I paid the owner of this business, Lauren Clement a 60% deposit for furniture and interior design services on 11/30/24 and was told that delivery would take place within 8-12 weeks. After several months of follow up, I never received a firm delivery date. During that several month time frame, my text and email follow ups to Lauren would routinely go unanswered for days and weeks at a time. My final follow up communication to Lauren was on 03/25/24 requesting an update on the delivery date. Lauren never responded. In light of this and the fact that I paid her several thousand dollars and have received nothing in return or even a firm delivery date, I requested a refund of my deposit on 04/01/2024. Lauren has not responded to my request for a refund nor provided any of the goods and services that I paid for in November 2023.
