We worked with Lauren beginning in 2020. While we have loved the quality of her design work, beginning in 2023 we began experiencing significant problems. I invited her to help with a $40k project. We paid her a 60% deposit in May 2023 after making some furniture, rug and window treatment selections. We did not hear a peep from her for two months. Because we were concerned about her, we reached out to two of her vendors used on our previous projects, both indicating they had ended their professional relationship with her. After reaching out to her mother, we got some traction getting some of the work completed in August and November 2023, despite sporadic communication and commitment dates that came and went. Fast forward to August 2024, after empty commitments to complete the remaining 25% of work, we hired an attorney who assisted getting our remaining deposit returned in September 2024. While we have always loved her work and have spent a significant amount of money with her on previous projects, we are choosing to end our relationship with her based on her lack communication skills and inconsistent execution.

I paid Lauren a 60% deposit on Feb 1, 2024 for my project, which included furniture, draperies, decor for our bedroom, living room, and dining room. Lauren did not deliver within her 8-10 week timeframe as quoted and expected. I did have to involve at attorney to ensure we received part of the order and a refund for the rest, which occurred at the end of July 2024. Several key pieces were incorrect (wrong fabric, size, model, color). I do not recommend working with Lauren.

I hired Lauren Clement, of Lauren Nicole Designs, to do a complete house renovation on our 25-year old home. While it was a very daunting project to undertake, Lauren put me at ease from the start. Both the general contractor and all of the subcontractors were wonderful to work with. Lauren functioned as both the project coordinator and interior design lead. She did a fantastic job pulling it all together, from the contractor’s side, down to the picking of fabrics and new furniture and fixtures. Lauren was very hands on and accompanied me to off-site locations to assist in the selection of certain vendor items needed for the renovation. Lauren also provided picture collages for each of the rooms with different furniture options for me to select my style. We were extremely pleased with the final result. We did the renovation planning to stay there another 7-10 years and enjoy a beautiful new space. Life had other plans, and we sold our house a little over a year after the completion of the project. Our home sold in less than 24 hours, well over the asking price. We received several compliments from both perspective buyers and real estate agents that this was one of the best presented homes they had seen. I have no doubt, from all the input that was received during our showings, that what Lauren did on our project had a huge impact on our very successful sale.

I paid the owner of this business, Lauren Clement a 60% deposit for furniture and interior design services on 11/30/24 and was told that delivery would take place within 8-12 weeks. After several months of follow up, I never received a firm delivery date. During that several month time frame, my text and email follow ups to Lauren would routinely go unanswered for days and weeks at a time. My final follow up communication to Lauren was on 03/25/24 requesting an update on the delivery date. Lauren never responded. In light of this and the fact that I paid her several thousand dollars and have received nothing in return or even a firm delivery date, I requested a refund of my deposit on 04/01/2024. Lauren has not responded to my request for a refund nor provided any of the goods and services that I paid for in November 2023.

Lauren and her team are great, very professional, and attentive to detail. She helped us prioritize the stages of our project and select window coverings, furniture, and finishing accessories. She utilized some old pieces with new and incorporated our artwork for a beautiful blend in our recently renovated home!

I hired Lauren to help me with my master bath and master closet remodel. She began by bringing in a designer that could use his computer to make the blueprints for the project. His service was quoted at ~ $16,000. My contractor told me that was a ridiculous price so I decided not to use the gentleman she referred me to. I could tell that she didn't like that I didn't hire this gentleman and wanted to hire a designer at a more reasonable price. She then took me to her cabinet designer and they gave me a quote as well. However, her cabinet designer simply would hire a cabinet maker to make the cabinets and I realized I would be paying a premium for Lauren's cabinet maker be she was a middleman. When I told Lauren I wanted to get a second quote it was obvious that Lauren was getting frustrated because I wanted to get multiple quotes and not just follow her recommendations blindly. She then requested $750 for her time thus far. After I paid her, she never talked to me again. She wouldn't return my calls or emails. Extremely unprofessional and discourteous for the image she tries to display. I would not recommend her if you want to be involved in your project and care about how much your project will cost. In my opinion and experience, she would only like clients that will do, spend, and work with her referrals only.
