Lauren's Interiors

Lauren is perfect!! We are a married couple who just moved into a new home. We have completely different visions, and she was able to satisfy the both of us far exceeding our expectations. We are both extremely impressed by her. So far, she has worked with us on our living room, entryway, and laundry room. With the limited budget she had to work with, it is astonishing to see the final product; she is quite talented. We wanted a comfortable, cozy, aesthetically-pleasing environment, and she did just that! I love how responsive and available she is. I am looking forward to all of our future projects with her. Who knew a pool table could look so good in a living room? Yep, that was for the hubby! Please see her before and after pictures. We didn't do a complete remodel or gutting of the house. We told her we wanted to work with what we have, and, boy, did she nail it! Yes, she is going to have to make the honey oak wood work (another hubby request).

I can not recommend Lauren enough. She recently helped us with a bathroom remodel as well as an exterior update (siding, paint, fixtures, fence and gate). In the past she has helped us with a playroom, kid’s room, living room and a hallway update. My house is over 100 years old and any update is always more difficult than anticipated. Lauren was alway available for consultation with myself or the contractor and can able to cook up a creative solutions. She is responsive and prompt. Not to mention that her designs are amazing! She works within my budget and always give multiple suggestions for each item. I know that am in good hands when I work with Lauren.

We purchased our first home and needed some help coming up with a gradual plan to improve and update the look within a reasonable budget. Lauren far exceeded our expectations. We had anticipated needing some costly upgrades like completely redoing the stairs, but Lauren pointed out that simply painting them white would dramatically improve the look. She had very creative yet practical ideas and the result is a much nicer looking house with some fun features like a colourful accent wall and modern chandeliers, all within our budget. Everything is also durable and kid friendly. She also provided us with layouts incorporating our current furniture and art pieces with recommendations for complementary pieces. We are planning on hiring her later when we are ready for some additional improvements to our home. Lauren was a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend her!

Bottom line of this review is that Lauren listens, brings about her professionalism and design expertise to every project. I’m a professional artist and I do not take designing my home (and my secondary workplace) lightly. I’m very particular, I do my own research and I can be hyper critical of even the smallest details. We’ve brought in Lauren on 3 separate projects. The first was for our beautiful flat in Noe Valley about 3 years ago. She’s helped us utilize items we already had while adding key items that could bring an entirely new design concept and flow to our apartment. This year we bought a home in SF and we looped in Lauren on the floor plan even before we closed on the home. We’ve since had our daughter which brings another layer into the design thinking (as well as my wife and I will be working from home for the foreseeable future). Lauren has worked with us seamlessly throughout the evolutions of our needs. We always recommend her as she’s critical to making a house a home.

We were delighted with Lauren's design services for our kitchen and two bath remodel. She made the remodel as manageable as possible for our busy lives, incorporating our preferences and also offering what proved to be spot-on design suggestions. Our contractor loved working with her and thanks in part to her expertise and responsiveness, the entire project finished on time and on budget.
