My husband and I recently redesigned our kitchen. Laurie helped us with making many of the design decisions. She thought of things I would never have thought of, and steered me away from lots of mistakes I would have made without her help. She is a kind, caring, professional, who works wonderfully with people. I would highly recommend her for any design job!

After purchasing a home which needed a lot of work, I hired Laurie to come up with an overall design and execute it all. She worked with me to get a good feel for my design aesthetic, then shopped for rugs, fabrics, furniture to present options. She had infinite patience when I was indecisive and helped me step outside my beige comfort zone. I could not be more pleased with the end result. She came up with ideas/colors and fabric combinations that work wonderfully together and create a varied yet cohesive look. She incorporated existing furniture with new pieces and reupholstered pieces to bring it all together into a sophisticated yet still comfortable design. Since the initial work she has come back and done several additional projects. I have gotten so many compliments from everyone who has visited. Laurie is gracious, kind, patient and was such a pleasure to work with. She is a very talented designer and I cannot recommend her more highly.

I recently worked with Laurie Woods on the design of a beach home. This is the third time I have worked with Laurie, but the first time we worked together from concept to installation. The work involved a major renovation of a 1980s beach villa, and I brought her in for consultation not only on the furniture; she also worked directly with the contractor and me on the floor plan and and finishings. At the onset of this project, Laurie encouraged me to step outside my style to create something that is different from my primary residence, though still reflects me. The end result is a beautiful and welcoming coastal home (without too much of a "beach" feeling) that is truly a great escape for family and friends. Laurie has been responsive, respectful of budget, and recognized when suggestions were maybe outside my comfort zone. This was such a fun project, I have hated to see it end, as Laurie is also fun to work with. I would recommend Laurie Woods to anyone.

Laurie did a great job, updating our 2nd living area, bedroom , guest space and exterior house during our 2nd project with her. Her taste is impeccable and she was sensitive to my desires and budget. I knew Laurie was the right designer for us after speaking with her for ten minutes via phone. She was the right mix of creative-led but process-driven that resonated with us, given that we were both working full time. Additionally, she has a very authentic approach to blending 1) gorgeous design with 2) your personal style and aesthetic, and 3) the existing look and feel of your home. We hired her and didn't look back. The result is a spectacularly beautiful home that we absolutely cherish. As new homeowners, Laurie guided us through the process every step of the way with thoughtful recommendations, respectful direction, beautifully creative additions, and ideas we never could have dreamt up. We leaned on her for nearly everything including paint colors, stone/tile/hard wood flooring materials, appliances, window treatments, carpets/rugs, light fixtures, and much of our staple furniture. She also found ways to showcase and highlight existing family heirloom pieces -- nothing we loved was pushed aside, but thoughtfully displayed in ways that truly work in the home. Beyond all of this, I lost my father at the very beginning of our renovation, and Laurie was a true professional, carrying the project forward, but also a kind and caring human being throughout. I am recommending her every chance I get and look forward to working with her on future projects.
