Working with Lavette is a dream...she listens, makes suggestions and ultimately turns your dream into reality. She has an amazing sense of style and can make even the simplest thing look like a million dollars. I love that she listened to my budget and worked within the parameters. We were able to stage things out and she was always there to answer my questions. I love that she is always thinking of her clients and will see something and give me a call. I am quite grateful to her for her help in designing my master bedroom and children’s bedrooms. I have no doubt we will continue to make beautiful rooms together and especially glad to now call her my friend.

In an age when design has become more accessible to the common homeowner through Instagram, Houzz, etc., Lavette is a testiment to the continued value of an actual designer. It’s one thing to look at pictures, and another to have a design professional like Lavette explain WHY the elements in the picture work and HOW to adapt them to the space at hand. From color and tile choices to lighting fixtures to kitchen cabinet style, Lavette was instrumental by illustrating design principles in a way I could understand and adapt them to fit our own home.

Lavette was so wonderful to work with. She is a true professional with an execltional eye for design and color. I hired her to finish a room I had already started with another designer. She was able to see my vision immediately and knew exactly what needed to be done to complete the project. She gave me an honest estimate of price and timeline for the work. When it came time to choose fabric for the window coverings, she came with options in many different price ranges, and didn't push me to pick the most expensive option. I will continue to use Lavette's Home Style for design projects throughout my house and would not hesitate to recommend her.

Lavette transformed my house in a short few months. She did a fantastic job decorating my living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and family room. Lavette has incredible talent as evidenced by her involvement in remodeling my kitchen.
