Le Rêve Interiors

We recently purchased a vacation home in Santa Barbara, and needed a designer to help us with both the vision for decorating ideas and the shopping insight to acquire the furnishings. Suzanne was exactly the right person to help us out. We talked through some ideas, and she came to the house to get both a feel for the location and interior of the house. Very quickly, her vision started coming together and just wowed us from the beginning. We feared that being off-location would make the process a challenge, but that was not the case. Suzanne’s website is incredibly user-friendly and allowed us to look at her suggestions (with several options for each piece), select the ones we liked best and see the pricing all in one stop. We literally sat at dinner one night with a laptop and filled 4,500 square feet of space with furniture, art, designs, decorations and rugs. Every dollar spent was tracked, including the savings she helped us find with her decorating connections. For a large and detailed job of filling an entire house, Suzanne put together an amazing home for us – one that we will relish for many years!!

Suzanne is easy to work with. She stuck with our budget and made wonderful changes when we asked for different choices during the proposal phase, such as changing to more durable, stain resistant upholstery in our dining and living rooms. We love our new home and so does everyone that enters. We could never have come up with such a beautiful and functional design without Suzanne!

It was such a pleasure working with Suzie! I really appreciated how she listened and really "got" what style we were going for. In fact, we didn't have a solid idea on what style we wanted or how to use the wide open space in the great room. Suzie guided us through different styles and layouts, until we found the one that we loved. I especially appreciated how she would guide me with a firm hand when I go astray with random designs back to the design concept. Yet she was never dismissive, and if it's something I really liked she tried to incorporate it into the design concept. Suzie is professional yet friendly, responsible, and very good with communication. I look forward to working with her again when we start the remodel of other parts of our house.!

Suzie is a true professional with an amazing eye. She was able to balance our wants and wishes within our budget and truly made our custom home building project easier than expected. She assisted with tile and hardwood flooring selection, counter tops, light fixtures, paint, and space planning. She is easy to work with, extremely organized and always responsive to my calls and texts. I highly recommend Suzie and Le Reve Interiors!

We were looking to refresh the style of our home from the warmer Mediterranean tones to a more Transitional look. I was wary of designers who wouldn't allow me to be involved in the design process but Suzie was great and always professional. I really enjoyed working with her because she would listen to our questions/concerns and gave sound advice. Her CAD drawings were very helpful in the planning process so we could see how all the parts would come together and proved to be a real advantage as we designed multiple custom built-ins that required precise measurements. Suzie's keen eye and expertise really helped us achieve our goal. Thank you Suzie for helping us transform each of our spaces into exactly what we envisioned!!

As an architectural photographer, shooting for designers is always a joy, and working with Suzie was no exception. Her love of interior design, as well as experience, really shows in her work. We collaborated on every photo. She knew what shots she was looking for and had some great input. I look forward to working with Suzie again!

Suzie helped us take our home and make it our dream home. We have a newer house but needed help pulling all of the rooms together to give it that custom touch. Suzie at Le Reve Interiors did an excellent job with the interior design of my office. I give her my highest recommendation. I have been a dentist for eleven years and have worked in three dental offices. I have learned that the appearance of the office in dentistry is important for many reasons. It must be a warm comfortable environment that patients enjoy being in. Let's face it, a dental office isn't anybody's favorite place to be. The office should look nice; it gives an impression of who you are to patients, and should reflect the quality of your work. At the same time, it can't be over the top because patients get the impression that you need to charge them extra to pay for it. With that said, I knew it would be important to hire somebody to help with my interior design. I was referred to Suzie by another dentist, Dr. Andrew Spath (who has a beautiful office that Suzie designed as well). I had already interviewed another interior decorator who quoted me four times as much as Suzie did, and offered really poor service. After interviewing Suzie, it was easy to tell that she would be easy to work with, and she understood exactly what we were going for. Even if the price was the same, I would have gone with Le Reve Interiors because Suzie really took the time to understand our vision. During the project, Suzie was always available for any of our questions. She met us on sight to pick out our finishes. She came prepared with samples, and we actually went with her first suggestions because we liked them so much. She was knowledgeable about the materials, and chose finishes that saved us a lot of money, yet still look impressive. She created detailed drawings, so it was easy for our contractor to build to her specifications. When I first interviewed Suzie I told her that my goal was to have every patient compliment our office when they came in. I wasn't completely serious, but she actually came through. Every patient that walks through our door compliments our office. We have had patients and other doctors ask for her contact information to design their offices and their homes. People just walking by will actually come in to compliment our office and ask for the decorator's phone number. I had to call Suzie last week to ask her to send business cards to the office! Everything about my experience with Le Reve Interiors, and the actual buildout of my office exceeded all of my expectations. Working with Suzie at Le Reve Interiors was a great decision.
