Leah was absolutely lovely to work with from beginning to end. Her understanding of our design aesthetic was spot on for our basement project. She created two distinct yet cohesive spaces we can use to entertain adults or kids - it is timeless and fun, and will be enjoyed for years to come! The professionals with whom she worked were on time, clean, respectful, thorough, and communicative. We would have never been able to realize and love this space without her. My husband and I were lucky enough to get connected with Leah through our general contractor just as we closed on a fixer upper that required a full gut renovation. She approached our project with creativity, vision and passion and brought our new home to life. From measurements and drawings, to reconfiguring layouts, to managing contractors to finding the perfect furnishings, Leah can do it all. Leah gave us our dream home that is not only beautiful, but reflects our style, and equally as important, is functional for our family. We felt Leah was as invested in the project as we were. My husband and I hired Leah to design two large and essentially empty living spaces on the first floor of our home after moving from a condo in the city to the suburbs. The entire process from start to finish was so enjoyable; as a mother of two small children, I especially appreciated how down to earth and realistic Leah is. My wife and I engaged Leah for a bathroom remodel and consulting on our kitchen renovation among other updates around our house like floor stains, wall colors and fixtures. Leah has an incredible vision to find what is right for your house and style. And our entire family couldn't be more thrilled with the results. We are so happy with the work, the process, and of course, the interior design to bring our new family home together. We can't imagine not doing this remodel without Leah's guidance. Our family used Leah to design a nursery as well as some other design updates around the house. She was so great to work with and the moment she stepped into our house she absolutely nailed our style and picked items that looked gorgeous with our Mid Century home design. We were so pleased with the results and I would have her design our entire home if I could! Highly recommend.

We worked with Leah on our main bathroom renovation. For a small space, it was rather cut up and what space was there, it wasn't used properly. Plus it was dated. So we had our work cut out for Leah. In hiring her, we were looking for someone who could not only coordinate the work with the GC and purchase items but also someone who could look at the space, learn about me and my husband, our lifestyle, learn about the style of our house and come up with a plan that was thought out well and integrated those observations. I feel we got that with Leah and her plan for our bathroom. We now love hanging out in our bathroom. It's the kind of space and aesthetics that makes us say every now and then "I can't believe we get to live in this". The design is very us and it melds with the rest of the house. As for the procurement, demolition and construction phase of the project, Leah was very organized and detail oriented that we did not feel the stress of a renovation. The only stress we felt was the anticipation of waiting for all of it to come together! We are hoping to save up again for another renovation soon, this time our kitchen and family room and we would love to work with Leah again.

Leah Phillips is a phenomenal designer and, what's more, a really amazing person to work with. I formally consulted her on some renovations I was doing. She is honest about pricing/costs/timeline from the start (not something everyone is), open, understanding of her clients' different needs, incredibly generous with design advice/resources/information , and just genuinely cares to provide helpful advice, even knowing I was doing these projects myself. I ultimately didn't have her manage bigger projects I was doing because of certain time constraints (she was very busy at the time) and, mainly, my impatience and own lack of understanding on costs...even when I checked in after our formal consult to ask her on some issues I ran into, she was unbelievably helpful. I've been working with different designers over the last few months, some I consulted and some I am doing bigger projects with (all of which, so far, have been very good), but.. she's just different. She is a gem of a designer and person. I highly recommend her and really have come to truly trust her . I really hope to work with her on a bigger project in the future. Thank you Leah.

My husband and I have worked with Leah Phillips Interiors across many projects within our home, the most extensive being a kitchen remodel. Leah's style and design acumen are clearly seen in her work (and speak for themselves). She truly transformed our spaces (we've given her many challenging ones!) while working with her our vision and budget. However, what I believe sets Leah apart from other designers is her diligence, follow-through, and joyful personality. Designing, remodeling, and building can be stressful; Selecting someone to guide you on that journey should not be taken lightly. Leah has been and continues to be our first conversation before we take on any home project. Her cumulative experiences, pragmatic perspective, and insistence on achieving the vision results in beautiful and functional spaces. We consistently receive compliments on our home and more importantly, our family enjoys the spaces that Leah helped create!

We worked with Leah for a full bathroom remodel and could not be happier with the results. The transformation is amazing and she was such a pleasure to work with every step of the way. She was very communicative, patient with any changes and worked well with our chosen contractor, problem solving along the way. We loved all her suggestions and made the headache of an en-suite bathroom model, manageable and a lot less painful.

We recently did a full-blown renovation of a two-story unit in a River North high rise. Leah really takes the time to understand your aesthetic and then seamlessly guides you through the process. We were completely overwhelmed with choosing bathroom finishes, kitchen finishes, flooring, lighting, wall colors, let alone furnishing our unit and Leah was there every step of the way. She is transparent, responsive, and extremely organized and makes what could be a stressful situation fun and easy. She worked very closely with our contractor and coordinated all logistics (delivery, vendors etc.) with our building. My favorite part of the process was seeing our vision come to life. We were out of town for a few weeks and Leah managed and orchestrated the entire delivery and set up of all furniture and styling of our home. After a long trip we came home to a furnished and perfectly styled home. It was such a treat! Leah truly is one of a kind and we can't recommend her enough.
