Lee Waters Design

I contacted Lee Waters Design after a thorough Google search of interior designers near my location. My husband and I recently retired and moved into a home which we purchased with my son and his family a few years ago. The home is nestled in 13 acres in a small rural community and has a finished basement in-law suite. However, the suite is being updated which is why I began a search for a designer. I contacted 2 experienced designers who had wonderful websites showing portfolios and had several positive Google reviews. It was a risk that one of these designers would contact me and be willing to travel a bit to come to our home. Lee Waters called with excitement in her voice to meet with me and help with the interior spaces. The other designer did email me, however, was unwilling to come to my home. Lee emailed me the appointment link and had good availability for meeting quickly. She came with an intern to assist with photos and measurements of the spaces. I had prepaid for the 2-hour session and never felt rushed. Lee met with me and my husband and welcomed our input on ideas. After the session, I promptly received her feedback with a detailed summary of our session and outlined next steps to complete the project. I told Lee that I have already been bragging on her because her professionalism and positivity in working with me. I am confident in her expertise to make our new retirement space beautiful and functional.

We moved into our new build three months ago and the furniture does not fit in the space right. There is also some awkward spaces that I was just not sure what to do with. I hired Contended Interiors consultation package to see if they would be able to help and to see if we would be a good fit for further design work. Lee was very professional and creative. I see myself and Contended Interiors having a continuing relationship.

I partnered with Lee on interior the design of my husband and I's first home! We both didn't have any furniture for our downstairs. I wanted to make sure everything coordinated, fit well in our space and was cute and all of that really stressed me out. I found Lee through instagram, I really liked her photos but also enjoyed her stories and could tell that she would be a great person to work with. Everything from start to finished was professional, well thought out, and presented in bite size pieces so I never felt overwhelmed! In the consultation, we went through my vision and she executed it perfectly! I absolutely LOVE our space. It is homey AND stylish which is exactly what I was going for! Nivettte was also great! She kept me updated WEEKLY which is a tall task when ordering pieces during a pandemic! Anyway, if you're looking for a designer or are interested in any of her classes I can guarantee you won't be disappointed! I absolutely love them!! They also seem to get how much I love me dog, which was the added bonus, I didn't know I needed :)

I did an initial consultation because I was thinking of a kitchen remodel that I knew would affect the adjoining family room. Lee gave me options other than a complete redo. In addition she recommended a few easy changes with family room accessories that I followed and it made a big difference. I have finally decided not to completely gut the kitchen and will be asking Lee to work with me on the update.

I hired Lee for the initial consultation for a kitchen remodel. She as full of good ideas, and helped me decide on the layout for my kitchen, as well as other tips. It was very helpful and a great first step.

Lee from Contented Interiors rescued me from the overwhelming stress I was feeling trying to make decisions on interior design issues. Primarily color. The investment in this consultation likely saved me from spending thousands of dollars on carpeting and paint that was not going to work in my home. I now have a clear plan on how to proceed and will be able to do so with confidence in my choices and no more panic attacks!

Lee is empowering! We hired Contented Interiors for a consultation to help us with a few projects around the house. We needed advice on our laundry room, an office for my husband and a school room since Covid has changed the landscape of our home life considerably. She listened to our ideas and gave honest feedback and encouragement. She helped us to figure out how to start and not be afraid of our own ideas! We have followed her advice and love the outcome!!!

Lee has completely changed the way I feel about my home, in the BEST way! I was struggling with a big open floor plan, and indecision of purpose for a variety of other rooms. Lee grounded me in simple, easy to tackle tasks that brought my home together for me. She had me rearrange furniture, switch a few pieces from room to room, paint, add some pretty things and voila! My house is now my home. I'm so happy.

Lee is a talented designer. She is professional and prompt. She transformed the rooms of our home into peaceful, comfortable, coordinated havens - with great accents and color choices.
