Lesley Glotzl

Lesley Glotzl is creative, practical, and hilarious. She has helped us with everything from small projects (choosing fabric to give an antique chair a glow-up), medium (picking paint colors and new outdoor lighting for an exterior facelift), to big (2 bathrooms and a kitchen/dining room fully renovated). She has an amazing eye and sense of space. And she's an excellent liaison btwn contractor and client. Two specific examples of two huge assists from Lesley on our most recent kitchen project: 1. I don't have a lot of patience (or time) to browse and sift through thousands of ideas, so she helped me narrow down finish choices and make decisions quickly; 2. She asked questions about meal prep to figure out our new cabinet and kitchen layout. An overwhelming process made easy.

Very happy with all the advice Lesley has provided me over the years. I worked with other designers in the past and with Lesley you definitely get more than what you pay for. While she worked with me on a very traditional design she is very adaptive and keeps up with all the latest and greatest designs and trends.

I had a wonderful experience working with Lesley and would highly recommend her! She is professional, knowledgeable, innovative and a great communicator. She is a talented designer with a great eye for color and space. She was so helpful when we moved into a new house narrowing down carpet, fabric and paint selections saving me precious time. She has a knack for using your existing items with a blend of splurge and affordable options to create comfortable, unique and timeless rooms. As an added bonus, she has a great personality and is fun to work with!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lesley! The process from start to finish was far beyond my expectations. Lesley and I were introduced by a mutual friend soon after we purchased our home - I had never worked with a designer before and was overwhelmed with all things that had to go along with designing this house! We clicked right away, became fast friends and worked so well together over the next couple years (through a pandemic!) and the end result is nothing short of perfect. Lesley has such an ease about her while at the same time gets things done! She worked seamlessly over the years to create our dream home with our style and budget. I simply could not have done anything without her! Our home is exactly what we wanted (and she brought in ideas and style that I didn't even know I wanted!) and living here feels like a dream. Our home has since been featured on a historic home and garden tour and front cover and main story of a design magazine. Thank you Lesley!

Lesley is so talented and so fun. I looked forward to our appointments as if a close friend were coming over! Lesley helped us move into our first home and I honestly feel like we could not have done it without her. Not only did she help pick the paint colors, light fixtures, window treatments and furniture for almost every room, but she also provided us with local contacts and overall advice for homeownership. A year later, she helped us renovate our entire basement (at an awesome price) and acted as project manager with all the contractors. The next year she helped decorate our son’s room and update the nursery for his baby brother. We were so fortunate to have found Lesley and still keep in touch despite our move out of state. She is easy to work with and down to earth. A great combination!

Lesley helped me with the renovation of my primary bathroom. I love the way it turned out!! She was a great go between with me and the contractor. Really helped things move along smoothly. It there were lovely options that were too expensive for our budget, she did a fantastic job of finding other options that looked just as beautiful but in our price range. I highly recommend her.

Lesley is wonderful to work with. Even with my crazy schedule, she always made it work. The end results are always wonderful! She does a great job of capturing my vision and taste perfectly! I have worked with her on many projects. I would highly recommend Lesley!

Lesley is the best! She is so talented and so fun to work with. She’s on top of the details and brings the creativity. Her work is always exceptional, but she doesn’t have just one look. She listens and brings her imagination to your project—it’s “You” but much, much better. She’s great at blending high-end options with affordable options. Lesley is not only a joy to work with but also a master of her craft! After years of decorating my own homes I was unsure of how I'd find working with a professional decorator. While respecting choices I had previously made, Lesley breathed new life into some of my favorite pieces and added touches I had never thought of - bringing much more character to my spaces. She was able to seamlessly blend what I had with thoughtful additions and create spaces that our family and our friends love to spend time in! Her eye for color, fabric and texture is on point - we feel so lucky to have found her!

Lesley is a rare gem—as organized as she is creative. During her first visit to my home, she listened and observed and very quickly understood our style and needs. While I have very clear likes and dislikes, I was paralyzed by the enormity of the big decisions. Lesley helped me narrow down the choices and pull the trigger on many projects I had been debating for years. Within an hour of entering my home, we made multiple purchases with clarity and confidence. Lesley knows when to splurge on an expensive antique or fabric, but also has a knack for finding the perfect Craigslist piece to repaint when that's appropriate. Lesley helped us with everything from choosing wall art for a powder room and wallpaper for the dining room to designing a master bath. She made decorating fun for me again.

We've had such a blast working with Lesley. Following a renovation that left us excited about additional space but overwhelmed with decisions, Lesley guided us through turning our house into a home. She has added style and polish to multiple rooms while keeping things comfortable and cozy for our family with two small children. She's brought amazing vision to some situations that had us stumped - awkward room layouts and funky furniture that we love but didn't know how to work around. Lesley can cater to any budget and is great about pinpointing when to save and when to spend a little more. She's incredibly creative and best of all, loads of fun.

Lesley helped us redecorate many rooms in our home. We’ve been wanting to do it for years, but I would get paralyzed with, “there are hundreds of couches, and hundreds of fabric choices, I have not idea.” So I never did anything. Lesley was incredible working with our style, and narrowing down choices. She was great at reusing pieces that we love, and kindly helping us move along things that really needed to go. She is one of the best people with whom I have worked: she is efficient, smart, professional, energetic and also very fun. She is a very good communicator and never took something personally if I didn’t like a suggestion. We love the rooms she helped us with. She has a real gift. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
