Linda is a true professional. She has an eye for good design and is very attentive to detail. She also is exceptionally responsive and helpful. I was very happy to have her on my team during an extensive remodeling project in a Brooklyn apartment.

If your looking for someone with the right touch, something special, Linda is the best choice. I'm a very busy guy, I can't be involved with too many options, but at the same time I had a specific taste. As complicated as that sounds, Linda knew what I was talking about. She figured me out from 1 major detail, i asked her for a mocha color, leather sofa, that sits 4 people. She understood right away that I'm going to entertain many guests. The entire process was Stress free, good vibes, very trustworthy, honest. With her background in architectural design, she was able to scale the apartment, and digitally insert each piece of furniture inside the room before we made a purchase. She even measured the hallways and the elevator to make sure my extra long couch would make it through. We picked out quality pieces of furniture, but she still negotiated where she could, as well as offer me her discounted rates where she had relationships. If we needed contractors, even for small stuff, she had contacts. Linda gets things done. She is definitely the right choice for your beautiful home.

I hired Linda Cava to help me renovate a garden apartment in Brooklyn. After years of the same occupant, the apartment needed updating to make it current with practical design and attention to the character of the pre-war space. I needed the apartment to be marketable and appealing to a large number of prospective tenants, and I was working with a tight budget on a tight timeline. Linda Cava dove right in to the project, bringing a terrific contractor to the job and a clear design-sense of how to make the space current, functional and timeless. She quickly sourced and procured all of the materials – from the perfect paint colors, tiles, cabinets and appliances – and went to work overseeing the project from start to finish in 2 ½ weeks. We hired Linda Cava to design and project-manage the renovation of the parlor floor and other other living spaces of our Park Slope townhome. I was initially attracted to her portfolio which reflected the sophistication, function and simplicity with attention to detail that we were seeking, as well as her credentials as both an architect and designer. Linda exceeded our expectations on all fronts. Her expertise and passion for her work were evident throughout our experience. During the design phase of work, Linda listened to our (confused and contradictory) ideas about what we wanted. She gently guided us by presenting options and recommendations; suggested where we invest vs. not spend needlessly. She was attentive to the style and history of the home, yet found unique ways to make it modern and reflect our family. She held our hand through parts of the process where we wanted to be involved (testing sofas!) and worked quickly and independently to manage other aspects that we were happy to stay out of. Every step she was focused, organized and communicative. In project management, Linda sourced, interviewed and vetted contractors for all of the work and was meticulous in ensuring everything was done to the highest standard. Her monitoring and attention to detail was critical in having our contractors deliver quality, on-time work. We cannot recommend Linda Cava more highly. We are grateful to her for making our house a place to which we love coming home. We are looking forward to working with her again in the future.

I hired Linda Cava to provide some fill-in interior design guidance on the renovation of a wood frame townhouse. She covered items like moldings, doors, lighting, and window sills - all key to how a room is going to look, but not always the easiest aspects to pin down versus the overall look, color and furniture. Linda listened and asked questions in order to get a sense of the aesthetic of the space to be created. She provided numerous ideas, helped narrow down choices and sourced specific items. She was always responsive, was generous with her time and made me feel like a priority. I have recommended her to friends and colleagues, and would continue to do so.

We hired an amazing designer, Linda Cava. She designed our kitchen and mudroom. We had big challenges with the space, but she was able to work them out. Her layout worked out perfectly. We wanted an island and had limited space. She was able to grab space from the garage to recess refrigerator and pantry. She seemed to understand our design style and what we were looking for. Simply put, Linda Cava is an incredibly talented designer who was an absolute delight to work with. I couldn't recommend her more highly. My partner and I originally hired Linda to work on just the architectural aspects of the gut renovation of our apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was a very complicated project involving structural work, adding an enlargement and completely redoing the interiors. Linda balanced the many complicated needs and developed a design that met all of our desires while retaining a ton of original character from the building. While we originally hired her to help us with the big picture ideas only, we soon learned that she was incredibly helpful in helping us with the tons of smaller decisions--whether is was deciding on details as small at the doorknobs and moldings, or designing a custom bookshelf and picking out furniture. She has a fantastic and extensive design sense that she was able to tailor to our sometimes-quirky and divergent desires. She somehow always figured out a way to make us both happy, which was no small feat. Linda worked closely with our contractor and was always available at any time to help address questions that arose in the construction process. A gut renovation is a huge time-intensive undertaking, and it was made so much easier by working with someone as kind and reliable as Linda. She is hard working, professional, incredibly attentive to detail, and easy going. I've already recommended her to a number of my friends, and I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend her to anyone else. The end result of our apartment exceeded our wildest dreams--we are so incredibly happy with how it all turned out and everyone that comes over has been super impressed.
