Lisa coordinated the design details of all of the interior and exterior elements of an extensive residential property. Lisa successfully combined all the elements of the interior and exterior of the Architecture, the landscape, as well as the hardscape features. The complexity of the details, the material selection, and the craftsmanship of the project were held to the highest standards. Lisa was a pleasure to work with. And she allowed us to express our creativity to the fullest extent, which in turn produced an exceptional end result.

Lion Haus's senior designer and principal is Lisa Underwood. Lisa has demonstrated an uncanny knowledge of her trade and an ability to produce design results over an extended period of time. She is diligent, hard working and honest. Her approach was not only to design create a beautifully unique project but to do it on time and with a total concern for budgetary restrictions. This project is a 10,000 square foot home and beach house. Her commitment was to work with the architect , the landscape architect, the general contractor and the sub-contractors. The ability to interface with all these professionals and to get them to focus and be cost conscious was extremely impressive. The project is located in south Florida. The assignment was to design a contemporary Asian home built in connecting pods. Most south Florida construction employs typical Mediterranean features such as masonry stucco walls and clay barrel tile roofs. We wanted a completely different exterior that would not be subject to the rigors of ocean air, heat and humidity. Through extensive research she found a method of using cypress that has been employed along the ocean in Japan for centuries. That discovery led to the very special design solution.
