My name is Rashmi and I am an experienced designer and principal of Living Edge Interiors, a design firm in Research Triangle, NC. After graduating with a degree in Architecture, I worked on varied projects for 6 years - corporate interior design for tech companies like IBM, Microsoft, NetApp, store designs for Target Inc, and high rise apartments. I now focus on residential interior projects of varied scope and design styles. I favor mixing the old with the new to create spaces that are both modern and timeless. I strive achieve a balance between comfort, function and style, with an attention to detail and a personal touch.

Rashmi helped us decorate our entire house including interior drywall painting. We are very happy that we hired her. She is very talented and high quality professional with enormous patience. She has ability to understand customer liking, choice, and style. She works with customer budget. She also helped us to buy furniture and other decorative items and sourced it from local as well online stores. She is not a designer who will take you to one store and ask you to buy everyone from there. All our friends and family have liked her work in our house. I would hire again without a doubt.

From a draft house plan to a home that we are enjoying immensely, Rashmi served as our advisor for design, aesthetics and function. Throughout the home building process, Rashmi contributed unique ideas that added interest and improved space use. Once the floor plan and elevations were finalized, Rashmi’s design sense was essential in narrowing down the myriad choices to those directly in line with the vision. We were so happy with Rashmi that we continued to work with her to develop furniture layouts, as well as purchasing and accessorizing. We could not be more pleased with our choice in Living Edge Interiors and Rashmi.
