Lori and her team are nothing short of spectacular! I was so very thankful that a neighbor referred me to Lori. I had great spaces to work with in my home, but I needed color and personality, lighting and furniture that would scale correctly for my space. Lori was able to meet with me, discuss what I was looking for and then bring an amazing design including color, character and fun (!) to my spaces. Our master bedroom is now an amazing and relaxing retreat, our family room has the right layout for our family, and I have beautiful window coverings throughout. I love that Lori has the relationships and resources for installers, electricians, etc so that everything is done professionally, timely and accurately. WOW!!! My family could not be happier! We vacation in Coronado from Scottsdale, AZ and needed our house to be turn key and ready upon arrival as we have 3 boys under 6. Lori is a gifted designer who continues to amaze and delight us with her creative acumen. Lori designed the interior of our main house 3 years ago, and our family continues to LOVE and enjoy its beauty and comfort. We recently asked if she would help update our rental property and we couldn't be more thrilled! We were pleasantly surprised that she integrated the current (lovely) newer granite and appliances with the fresh, beachy, airy updated look. The floors, wall color, and cabinets are gorgeous, and the updated fireplace she designed is off the charts. It is the centerpiece of the room and it is stunning. Lori Gentile is an incredibly talented designer. My husband and I built a house on the oceanfront in southern California. We worked with Lori to create an elegant home that is still comfortably casual to suit the location. Lori incorporated the French and European influences which we both desired and we are thrilled with our beautiful new home! She amazed us with ideas that we had never considered. Lori and her team did an awesome job decorating the two living rooms and dining room in our new home. Her eye for style while still matching the tastes of her clients is amazing. We were shown full selections for all rooms to get a feel for the final “look” which made the entire process super easy. Lori Gentile and her team were fantastic to work with. We were looking to do a major facelift/remodel of our clubhouse and bar. Being that we are a private club, our down time needed to be as minimal as possible since our membership would not have access to these areas. After meeting with Lori and her team to describe the vision we were looking for, Lori was able to put together a great looking plan for the areas being remodeled. From new carpet, practical furniture, lighting and a complete remodel of our bar area, she was able to enhance upon our first talked about vision more than I imagined. Another important element was to find a competent contractor that also knew how to work in our private club environment. Lori’s recommendation could not have been better. As I mentioned above, time was of the essence in getting this project completed as quickly and efficient as possible. Our total amount of downtime for our clubhouse was only two weeks. I had quite a few of our members that were in the building business and they would come up to me saying, “this is supposed to be done next Friday, no way.” Well, on that Friday, two weeks later we were open for business hosting a tennis exhibition and the clubhouse and bar were fully operational. I would also add that during the whole process from beginning to end, Lori and her team were very professional & constantly communicating with me. I really feel our project could not have gone better no matter what. It was a pleasure working with them and hope to work together on future projects for our club.

Lori is talented, passionate, and an artist who has made my home a place that I love. I am giddy with happiness and have been since we moved into our home and it is due to Lori and her team. Lori is a designer with depth and a true artist who collaborates and dreams up a unique style with her clients. She's one of a kind. Look through her portfolio, different than other designers who you can start seeing a trend or theme, you will not see this with Lori. Her style is one of a kind without boundaries. The other thing I love about her is although every room she designs is worthy of HOUZZ posting she respects and values her clients and doesn't post all of her exceptional work. Her values are aboveboard and it has been a gift of a lifetime to work with Lori.

We were introduced to Lori when we had just moved into our home which is over 7,000 square feet and had no furnishings. After spending limited time together, she quickly gained an appreciation for our preferred style. Lori and her team created a presentation that was next to perfect. I knew I wanted Lori Gentile Interior Design to help me make my house a home from the moment I saw her website. What struck me was I liked every one of the design projects displayed on her website. Not that all of them would fit me, or my house, but I could see she was a master at creating unique and beautiful spaces. Prior to our first meeting I collected pictures of items and rooms I liked from magazines and the Houzz website. Honestly, I couldn’t see any consistent style or theme in the things I was drawn to. I need not have worried! Lori Gentile looked at my pictures, my home and asked me questions – I felt Lori understood what I needed to fall in love with my home. She left with all my information to put together a design presentation. Lori came back with Kate, her design assistant, and presented her ideas for my home. I was floored by her stunning design. My husband and I found Lori Gentile Design based on a strong recommendation by our Architect; it turned out to be the best experience we could have ever hoped for. We had just finished designing a "contemporary Island Style" house and were completely stymied as to how to finish the interior. After sitting with Lori in her design studio for approximately three hours, we identified the color scheme for the wood floors which then lead to the stone, tile, cabinet and fabric colors and materials. Lori pulled together a palette of materials that we loved from the first moment; we didn't have to look further as she "got" exactly what it was we were envisioning. Lori and her staff have created a beautiful environment where we truly feel like we are on an Island....every day.....a place where friends just stand there and take it all in once they've come through the front door....

We worked with Lori Gentile and her staff on two different design projects over the last 6 years. Her first project for us, in 2008, was to furnish the interior of a newly constructed home in North San Diego County. Lori selected everything for us, furniture to window coverings, and we were very pleased with how well she matched our taste with her recommendations. Everything was delivered and installed as scheduled, with no surprises along the way. Our second project with Lori, 3 years later, was to do a complete interior design for a 30 year old townhome. We stripped the interior of the home down to the studs and then let Lori and her team design the layout and help manage the reconstruction side by side with our general contractor. The project was finished on time and on budget. Lori selected all the materials and provided several high quality subcontractors to complete the finish work. Once again, we were completely satisfied with the results.

This is our second time redecorating our home with Lori. We loved the previous furniture but wanted a total new look and concept for our house! And we sure got it! Lori's creativity and imagination produced a spectacular living, entertaining and dining space for us that is magnificent, comfortable, and elegant. She monitored every step of the project, answered every phone call, email and was on time for every consult appointment. Our house is a work of art, yet represents everything we wanted! We are so grateful for Lori's remarkable talents and professional team.

Through it all, she has that uncompromising "best of the best" design mindset and focusing on you and the end results. She was able to listen to our ideas, get to know our personalities and very quickly pull the design together, including flooring, lighting, custom furniture, wall paper, window treatment, tile works, special built-in, accessories...etc. The project struggled a bit due to our fixed budget, but she did her best to work with us... We ended up needing to take some compromises but the end result is still magazine cover worthy :) only wish we could show the world, but that's another story. All in all, if you are in San Diego, you want some exceptionally fine and artistic design, not tacky, and not someone just reselling you common "luxury" stuff off the reseller..., Lori is a Master Designer, her team always professional and yes, she delivers.
