My husband and I first learned of Lori May Interiors by reading a piece about Lori’s work in Cobb Life magazine in early 2018. I was struck by her philosophy of blending classic elements with modern elegance. From the first phone interview and in-person meeting, I felt Lori and her amazing assistant Shannon truly listened to my needs. We were initially just wanting to focus on redoing the living room, but some updates to the dining room and kitchen were rightly suggested as the rooms were connected. Though I had no “dream board” and knew more of what I didn’t like than being able to articulate my likes, Lori and Shannon focused on our desire to have a timeless look that could be updated periodically with accent changes. We had never used a designer on a large scale before and we were very pleased with their transparency about timelines and excellent communication. The finished product is so beautiful and just what I wanted. We had new paint throughout the entire first floor, new lighting fixtures, draperies, couch, armchairs, tables, lamps, and artwork. She incorporated many of our best pieces of furniture/accessories/mirror that we already had on hand. Even months after installation, I am still in awe that our home is so nicely put together, yet comfortable and functional. I heartily recommend Lori May Interiors to anyone.

I absolutely loved working with Lori! She walked us through most of the design of our new build and helped us furnish the end product. She truly was a delight to work with; I enjoyed meeting with her and Shannon throughout the process, talking through options with them and making decisions. She took a huge project and was able to break it down into manageable pieces for us, was clear and consistent with her communication, and helped us to create a home that is absolutely perfect for our family- beautiful but relaxed and child-friendly. Lori is terrific! She listened to our (mine and my husband’s) needs, likes and dislikes. She thoughtfully explored our existing family room decor to understand our style preferences. She then made design recommendations that were tailored to us, our home and lifestyle. She answered all our questions and even gently guided as we brought our own ideas to the discussion, either carefully explaining why something wouldn’t work or making adjustments to our customized plan. We are thrilled with the results. I would absolutely work with Lori again!

Lori and her team did a fabulous job on our living room design! She managed to please both me and my husband with the outcome and design details - no small task! The cost was reasonable and I appreciate how Lori was so transparent with her billing and able to stay within our budget.

Lori May Interiors assisted during the entire building process of our new home. Lori is extremely organized and kept us on track with choosing exterior and interior finishes in a timely manner. She worked closely with our architect, builder and subcontractors. We also contracted with Lori to decorate/choose furnishings for several rooms in our home. She nailed the timeline and almost everything was delivered on the day we moved in! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Lori and her staff!

Lori is such a pleasure to work with and a great interior designer. We could not be more pleased with how she has transformed our home. She took the time to really listen to what we wanted to do to our home. Lori then helped us understand her process, the timing, costs etc and made us feel very comfortable with the investment we were about to make. Lori is a fantastic designer! She wants your home or space to be your style and fit your needs; many designers try to impose their own aesthetic. Lori stays on budget, communicates wonderfully, is organized, and gets the job done! She is a pleasure to work with and someone who I now call a friend! Lori makes the renovation and design process fun, not an easy feat! I truly loved workin with Lori and can't wait for our next design project!

Lori has designed several rooms in my home and I have been very happy with the entire experience from start to finish. The biggest project would be completely designing my basement including flooring, paint, tile, countertops, paint, decorations, artwork, window treatments, built ins and all furnishings. The basement turned out wonderful and our family has enjoyed being able to entertain in the space now that it's complete. Her estimates are transparent and she provides a good, better and best option when presenting the estimates. I have had the pleasure of fabricating Lori's window treatments since 2011. We have completed many projects during this time. She is always professional and a pleasure to work with!! She has designed many beautiful rooms for her clients and they are always pleased with the results. She has a keen eye for design while staying within her clients budget.

Lori of Lori May Interiors was incredible helping me make some updates to the formal areas of my house. She helped pick out a splashy new color for the walls. She, with great creativity, rearranged the furniture in the living room to accommodate my new piano. She helped design the new hardwood flooring and suggested new kitchen lighting. And also referred me to excellent contractors to do this work. She was completely professional and fun to work with, followed up on every aspect of the work, and made the process completely easy and fun. I loved how she accommodated my taste and needs into the designs but made everything better than I could have made them on my own.
