Our project was a complete tear down and rebuild of our 2500 sq. foot home, To add to the challenge, my husband and I lived 2.5 hours from the project site. We knew we needed to hire a designer who was professional, detail oriented, creative, collaborative, communicative and trust worthy. Gail proved, time and time again, throughout our 15 month rebuild, that we chose the right person for the job. She started by getting to know us and how we envisioned living in the house. She also sought to understand our personal tastes and preferences in design. We started having candid conversations around budget and costs from the very beginning. This was tremendously helpful. Her services included, but were not limited to, the design and selection of custom cabinetry (both kitchen and bathrooms), flooring, decking, light fixtures, countertops, tile, paint colors (interior and exterior), and window treatments. She also designed furniture and rug layouts and selected new furnishings for every room in the house. Gail worked closely with both our architect and builder as well. She kept the design, ordering and delivery of all items on time and within budget. We are now settling into our stunning new home. It is not only beautiful, it is comfortable and feels like OUR home. We are so thankful that we found Gail. She was wonderful to work with. I recommend her without reservation.

Gail Madison came on in the middle of our disorganized two-year remodel project. We had completely gutted our home and were adding on 1000 square feet, a 3100 square foot garage/guest house and adding all new landscaping. We had a strong vision but it wasn’t cohesive and we were missing deadlines. Over the years, we had collected ideas about lighting, kitchen cabinets, furniture, bathrooms, etc, but we didn’t know how to put it together and deliver the information in an organized way to our contractors. Gail took all that we had, kept the ideas we loved, edited well, and added materials and pieces that brought our home together better than we imagined. She presented drawings, floor plans, and material selections to us and then worked directly with the contractors to manage the choices with the timeline. Gail turned around what had been an overwhelming nightmare. We are so grateful that Gail jumped in and saved this monster of a project, we absolutely could not be happier with our home. It is sophisticated, minimalist, modern, and yet somehow playful and cozy! It’s the perfect backdrop for the fun, busy, life we share with our three beautiful children.

How lucky can one be to work with Gail at Madison Interiors? Let me attempt to tell you. Gail was presented with a newly constructed, empty home to design and furnish. Gail was masterful at getting to know our preferences and dreams during her interview process. She took the time to discover what each of us was looking for in our home and then turned our empty shell into a masterpiece that we both love and that feels like both of us. On the day Gail presented fabrics, drawings and furniture selections, we greatly appreciated her presenting options on price points to fit our budget. What's more, she surprised us with personal touches that we never considered, such as translating our love of the ocean into the interiors. From the first input session, to a presentation of our entire home design to our budget, the process only took a matter of weeks. Once everything was chosen, our excitement continued to build and build. The day of our move we met Gail at our home and then promptly left at her request as she filled our home with rugs and furnishings. A few hours later we were summoned and walked into the most beautiful home we have ever seen. I am in awe of Gail's talent and creativity. She is a pleasure to work with and I was a bit sad when our project was over, even though we had our new home in which to live. Hopefully one day we'll work together again.. If I could have give Gail ten stars I would have.

If you keep hoping for a magical transformation of your living space, your wish can come true. And, it’s so easy and fun. You just need an interior designer that not only understands design, color and space but also intuitively imagines your style, your dream rooms. Gail has just that incredible mix of skill and native talent. We purchased a beautiful French manor style home and decided to start from nothing to design and decorate our living, dining, family and powder rooms. I had fallen in love with Louis XV furniture and design but had no clue about how to put old and new together and make any of it fit my vision. Gail put us through a series of initial steps that combined with her intuition allowed her to create design plans, furniture layouts and product selections that seemed to magically create what I had been imagining. Gail’s eye for color and design flow is amazing. Everyone who comes to our home always comments on our color selections for all the rooms. On the gritty work of a project, Gail is organized, prepared and meets project benchmarks. She is direct about cost, budget and how to achieve what you want by combining different cost points. We were able to make informed decisions about where we wanted to spend more money or less. It all made the process so much less stressful. Best of all, Gail does all the work. All you have to do is the initial homework she asks you to do, then let her take charge and guide you through the magic of designing the home you want. We can’t wait to have her remake the master bedroom next year.

Gail Madison was instrumental in guiding me back on track with my kitchen remodel. Though I'm fairly decent with colors and style, I found designing to be so involved, and it was easy for me to become overwhelmed and unsure of the myriad of decisions and choices I had to make. From the beginning, Gail asked many questions, listened carefully, and then provided the insight, knowledge, and direction I needed to move forward with my project. We turned to Gail Madison at Madison Interiors to help us realize our dream of having a casual but elegant family room that we could use both for watching a movie with our kids and for entertaining. Gail took on the challenges of our large space, difficult schedules, and varying and poorly articulated visions and came back with a plan that crystallized the possibilities for the room in a way we would never have been able to do by ourselves. We had a space that was too big for a single seating area, but not amendable to separation into two completely separate areas. When we made our decisions she then implemented the process through installation efficiently, but alwasy keeping us informed. We would definitely use Gail again for future design needs.
