I contacted Malika and first she charged me to come out said it was $50 consultation and $50 for travel. The consultation was me telling her my likes and what I was thinking. She did some measurements and came out again to discuss, however I have not seen a 3D picture or anything with regards to a design for me, and she seemed to be all over the place. Seemed like she was more into trying to sell me a rug from pottery Barn. I was not impressed at all and I’m still waiting on her drawings as to what my space would look like. I have tried to contact her to see but not returning my text. A wasted $100

Oh no! I apologize your experience didn’t meet your expectations and I hear what you’re saying. I appreciate you being honest about the services you did receive, which was a consultation and travel fee due to your location being out of my service area. I try really hard to reach all inquiries no matter the distance. My travel expenses and more importantly TIME is very valuable. A proposal was never presented because we couldn’t agree on a vision or budget. I take accountability for not formally sending a departure email. In the future I will definitely make sure to do so. (Sensitive Information Hidden) First off I want to start by saying Malika is the most sweetest and genuine person. After years of shopping at her store for our previous house and our home in Athens, Michael and I knew that we wanted Malika to design our new home. She absolutely exceeded our expectations. Her ability to put everything together the way she does is amazing and truly her gift!
