Marcelle was very easy to work with. She (or someone from her office) always responded right away, she worked within my budget, took time to get to know what styles, colors, etc I liked and always had creative ideas to help pull things together. She has resources for anything that I needed, from hanging pictures to building furniture, and was equally willing to work with someone that I found on my own too. This was my first experience working with an Interior Designer, and Marcelle definitely made it a good one!

We worked with Marcelle when we were designing our new home from scratch. She provided wonderful feedback to our ideas and really helped us keep a cohesive vision! She is a wealth of knowledge and provided a ton of new ideas. Marcelle was able to take our individual thoughts and bring it all together in the end. On top of that, she was incredibly enthusiastic about our project. It was so fun to work with someone who really loves what she does! She was generous with her time, and it was fun to get to lay our samples and look at everything in her cool office space. We would work with Marcelle again in a heartbeat!

Marcelle was terrific. She spent a lot of time with us, working with us and coming up with smart solutions to a challenging kitchen renovation. Whenever we had an appointment or deadline, Marcelle and her team met it. She listened to us and our wish list of features. Her knowledge of materials, paint colors, fixtures, and functionality were second to none. The plans she produced were clean and beautiful and gave us the design and workability we wanted. She also presented us with options that let us think about where we wanted to stretch our budget and where we wanted or needed to tighten the purse strings. I'd use her again without hesitation.

Marcelle took a home that had basically been abandoned and turned it into a showplace on Old Hillsboro Road in Williamson County, TN. From the selection of paint colors to the placement of furniture and curios, Marcelle turned our home into a place where we could proudly entertain. We've just purchased another home and Marcelle was first on the list to call to help make our new home a place we will be proud to call home. I look forward to working with her again.

We enjoyed working with Marcelle very much. Her services were provided by our builder. We were all over the place in the beginning with the look we were going after and she was able to winnow these wants and needs down to a cohesive look that worked for us and fit the builder's budget. We didn't pay for her services so I can't even guess at that one.
We would definitely work with her again if we ever had the need for an interior designer.

Working with Marcelle has been an enjoyable experience from the beginning. She starts the process with listening which has not been my experience with other designers. She took a lot of time in the front end to get a feel for what exactly I wanted my house to look like and more importantly how I wanted my house to feel. She has the ability to take my taste and make it look a millions times better. She is extremely professional and although she is very busy, she is always accessible to me when needed (I try not to abuse that). If you are looking to get your house decorated as a home not an HGTV showroom, I highly recommend Marcelle.

Marcelle was instrumental in helping coordinate details such as tile & grout, cabinetry, electrical and plumbing fixtures, paint colors, etc. She allowed us to do as much footwork as we wanted to and she then helped us narrow down our final choices. I hired Marcelle to help me with the interior design of a home that we were building. I had not worked with a designer before. So, I didn't know what to expect. My husband and I showed Marcelle some of our idea books for the kitchen and bathrooms. It was perhaps an hour long meeting discussing what we are looking for. When we met Marcelle and her team in their office, we were blown away with how perfect their selections for us were. As I sit in our new kitchen, I am smiling over the cabinet color. This was an area where I knew what I wanted, but I didn't know what I wanted. It is truly amazing that Marcelle was able to find the perfect shade of blue/ grey. I wondered if it would turn out right (would it be too grey?). As soon as the cabinet maker showed me a sample, I was amazed. It was perfect! Some accent tiles (suggestions for the kitchen) were so right on my taste that I was seriously impressed. One sheet of tiles we ended up using as floor tile in one of the bathrooms. Marcelle is definitely up on current trends and helped us select modern styles while keeping a classic look to go with the look of our home. Everything that she helped us pick has made us very excited to live in our home. Thank you, Marcelle!

Marcelle helped my husband and I with interior decorating of our home. We have a modern home, and our personalities are quite different in styles, colors, and textures. We explained in our first meeting with Marcelle that she was not just helping us decorate, she was going to be a mediator at the same time! She proved remarkable in this department, and the result is a home that complimented both styles and personalities of my husband and I.
Marcelle has vast professional knowledge... she could provide history and sources of any piece at the blink of an eye. We never had to worry about a deadline or budget creep. Her vendors were professional and high quality. We had several custom made wood and steel pieces created with her design and sketches.
In addition to the work she did making our home beautiful and inviting, Marcelle went above and beyond when we were featured in a neighborhood home tour. She made sure to come by and bring additional decorative pieces that finished the house just right for the over 500 guests that meandered through our home over the course of 2 days.
I highly recommend Marcelle's services, and will engage her in the future.

Marcelle Guilbeau helped us with our kitchen/dining and office area remodel. Our kitchen area was too "modern" with cold feel. Marcelle advised us how to rearrange spaces, move around walls. Marcelle helped us to find solution of hybrid transitional style with touch of modern with very warm color palette. She understood how we live and how we use our space. She designed beautiful window treatments, corner custom banquette seating/dining nook; she helped us to find lighting solutions. Our kitchen now has custom Amish cabinetry, warm travertine flooring and dual color/ material countertops (light marble/dark leathered granite).

Marcelle is a top notch designer! She listens so well to her clients and really gets their style. I have no discernible style; at least I didn't think I did. I showed Marcelle some pictures of things I liked and at our second meeting everything she showed me, I was like 'Wow! That's so me!' She got me when even I didn't understand my likes and dislikes. She is a very intent listener and really gauges your reaction to things as well. There were a few times when I wasn't sure if I liked something or not. I was satisfied with the choices; however, Marcelle never failed to tune into those 'unsure' decisions and always came to the next meeting with something that really spoke to me and blew me away. The energy and excitement of Marcelle and her design team are infectious. I am so grateful to them for the amazing work they've done to help my husband and I create our dream home.

I met Marcelle through a mutual colleague. I was searching for a designer who could see my vision of my new Dental office as I did. The first visit was at Marcelles' office and just from the design of her space, that she created, I knew then she was the designer for me. I expressed my ideas and within one hour of sharing, she got me! She started pulling out textiles that totally satisfied my vision . She is an intense listener and is not overbearing. She allows her client to express their ideas and is quick to grasp it! Over the course of a year now, Marcelle's expertise in dealing with my builder and his team was seamless. I still use her services for my home and my office which is has been opened 7mths. Her personality is effervescent and she leads a great Team. I enjoy working with Marcelle and would highly recommend her!!!

To me, Marcelle truly is unique as a designer just due to the fact that she really listens to her clients and works to achieve their vision. Having worked with Interior Designers for over a decade, the one recurring theme was that they had a preconceived idea as to what would look good in a space, and they spent a great deal of time convincing their clients to believe in THEIR vision and not the clients. Marcelle, however, is much, much different. She listens to the client, understands their vision, creates a palate that falls in line with the client’s vision and still manages to fall in line with the budget as well. Marcelle is a fantastic Interior Designer and I would enthusiastically recommend her.

I was hired as the art consultant for a dental office that Marcelle Guilbeau had designed. It was a pleasure to have such a beautiful and well thought out space with which to add the finishing touches of art to. The space was extremely well thought out with regard to flow and practicality of use whilst retaining a wonderfully soothing and spa like ambiance. Working with Marcelle Guilbeau was truly inspiring, her professionalism in running with a tight deadline, great aesthetics, clear concise communication and the ability to juggle the needs of client and contractors are a talent that deserve the highest praise. I would not hesitate to work with her again.

When I bring Marcelle in on a project I immediately relax. My blood pressure goes down and I can get on with the tasks at hand, knowing with complete confidence that the clients are going to love and adore their new space. Marcelle has a knack for figuring out what the individual wants and bringing is to life in a way that they never could've imagined.
I go back to projects that we did together years later and the clients still delightfully proclaim......."I wouldn't change a single thing". There's no better testimony to this gifted designer than that.

I hired Marcelle to start and complete a look for my family room. I needed it to be simple, inviting, and kid-friendly! She did a great job in making sure that all of our needs were met. Our family loves the room and we spend most of our time in it. Thanks Marcelle!

Marcelle is AWESOME!!!!!!!
She is whatever your style is!!! She is honest and cool! She will listen and give her input but not overwhelm you with her own ideas. She will make a space work even if you think it shouldn't or couldn't but can't make a move right now! She is knowledgeable about fabrics and prints. Her clean modern style is my favorite... (If that's a style :) ?)
She has great connections to help you get a high end look for your budget. She always knows where to find the good stuff :)
I absolutely love Marcelle Guilbeau and recommend you get to know her for your Interior Design needs!

Mu wife and I discussed building a house and had looked at several plans. The first plan we discussed, Marcelle had helped with designing the great room/family room and how it tied in with the Live-in porch. Her ideas were great. Though we didn't end up building that house, it was a great introduction to her, her ideas, and how she works to try and understand her customer.
With regards to the house we did build, we had a couple of issues with trying to figure out how to finish the Great Room again. The original plan had 3 beams going across the cealing which we didn't care for, The ceiling itself was about 25' to the highest point, so we knew we needed something. We were also trying to achieve a Post & Beam look without the expense. Marcelle pulled it off beautifully. She designed some architectural trusses that went well with the ones outside. We had some reclaimed beech timbers that we had milled and placed them in the corners and across the header (about a 26' span). It actually turned out better than we could have imagined. Beautiful job Marcelle! You Rock!

I've worked with Marcelle on two separate occassions so far. I am not a creative sort and therefore lack vision when it comes to interior design. On both occassions, I felt incredibly empowered after working with her. By focusing on what was important to me, both esthetically and practically, we created a vision that I am SO excited about and feel confident in implementing. I also know I have support with referrals and recommendations if I get stuck.
I had a significant amount of stress rolled up in NOT having vision around decorating my house. All of that is gone....and that is a wonderful gift.

Working with Marcelle was a joy - she has such a knack for my family's needs. She helped me bring together this awesome living room that has loads of seating, is bright and airy, has wonderful color accents, is easy to be in, and is just beautiful. This was my first time working with a designer and I was thrilled to work with someone with such high levels of expertise and a keen eye. Mixing patterns, colors, textures all comes easily to Marcelle. And, she balances seating, room flow, plants, lighting, and everything in between artfully. I would highly recommend working with Marcelle!

Marcelle and her team are both creative and practical. I especially enjoyed how she integrated my current furnishings in with our new design. I always felt part of the process. The color palette she choose was also unique and refreshing. All my friends say this place reflects me and my taste. The other thing I hear is that it is such a cool place. Marcelle was referred to me by past clients. Everyone had nothing but GREAT things to say about her as a person, her work and her prices. I must concur - Marcelle is FABULOUS! She is very genuine, kind, warm and most of all talented in her line of work. She is very open to your thoughts and ideas and utilizes them to make your dream decor come true at a reasonable rate. Her pricing is fair and it is well worth the money spent. I most definitely recommend her and I will use her again for a decor project. Kudos to Marcelle.

Though her amazing design talents are more than impressive, what makes her to indispensable to us is her pragmatism. Marcelle helped me to 'banish the brown' from our main living area, and now it is my favorite spot in our home. She quickly assessed our needs, and made recommendations that utilized some existing pieces while totally transforming the look of the room.
As busy professionals, my husband and I appreciated that she could meet at times that accommodated our schedules, and took the 'guess work' out of the project with clear communication on schedules and budgets.
In addition, Marcelle is a delightful person and I have already referred to to others.

Marcelle is incredibly talented and knowledgeable, and yet she keeps it quietly in her pocket: she allowed me to talk it out, really listening to my wants and needs. Marcelle is a true professional and design enthusiast. You can tell she has a passion for this work. Her comments and suggestions are well-thought and balanced. She really takes your vision and runs with it. Most importantly, she makes suggestions to maximize your space. Marcelle was conscious of our budget.
We were building a new home, and Marcelle guided us and organized all of our finishes and fixtures (kitchen and bath design, lighting, exterior and interior paint colors). She had a full understanding of our design goal and kept our decisions on track. We are thrilled with the outcome.
She also gave us a great outline for our furniture choices: sizes and styles. "The Rules" have helped us stay on track in our decisions.

I'd highly recommend Maracelle as a designer. She has assisted me in everything from paint colors to tile selections to pillow and rug selections. She's on point with her selections, and gets to know her clients well. Her prices are fair, and she will, I feel, try to work within the budget she is given. I'll be using her again....wait, I've already asked her to do something else for me...haha!

Is ..simply awesome. She is fast and concise. She can quickly narrow down what your style is even when you have no idea what that is. She is Totally seasoned and professional. Can work quickly and creatively with any budget or space. 100% enthusiastic and supportive all the way through a design process and beyond.
I have learned sooo much ..and still ask her opinion all the time and she quickly, concisely and competently finds the solution.
She is able to see BIG picture down to the tiniest of details. She will be with me and mine for years to come if she keeps us !
She designed my entire house from the framing all the way to the end and we are still having finishing touches here and there and she is always the last word for me.

I hired Marcelle to help with placing art and furniture and determining color schemes for a downsizing move from a huge, modern penthouse loft to a small transitional Victorian bungalow. It was a painful but fiscally necessary move and was very emotional.
Marcelle was understanding, patient and thoughtful throughput the process. She kept expenses to a minimum; but helped transform our simple new space to a showplace.
She helped with difficult decisions of how to pare down a treasured art collection, where to place the furniture we already owned and could not afford to replace, and what key pieces we could add to tie everthing together.
Marcelle prove to me that the right designer (part crative expert/part psychologist/part procurement agent) does it have to break the bank.
I would hire her again for design work projects large or small.

When our kitchen needed renovation my husband and I did not hesitate in our decision to include the professional services of Marcelle and her capable staff. Marcelle's reputation for service, attention to detail, and eye for distinction is second to none. marcelle is excellent. she has been willing to work with my husband and me on several projects in getting our new (but older) house to look and feel like it's ours... a true reflection of our tastes. no project is "too small" for her- she is always willing and excited to offer us guidance and ideas whether it be for our 3-year old's bedroom or for dining/living rooms. i appreciate that she doesn't push her own taste or style on us, but genuinely wants us to decorate and furnish our home in a way that reflects our individuality.
she is just fantastic and i would recommend her to anyone!

I have no knack for interior decorating which is why I needed an expert like Marcelle. And I don't have an unlimited wallet so I completely appreciated her strategy of providing options at various price points so I could pick and choose what elements I wanted to spend more (or less) on. She not only captured 'my style' in delivering options, she asked so many questions that I really had to think which ended up making me comfortable with my final decisions. She's a lot of sass packaged in a petite female and boy does she know her trade. Highly recommend her and have successfully done so already! And am using her again to help with updating my kitchen and den.
