We hired Marcye to help with the interior decorating of our new home. Her approach to working with us was to understand our vision for the home and work to incorporate details that fit that vision and were also consistent with the home style we were building. We were lucky that Marcye's experience extended beyond decorating to interior design as our architect took on a new role part way through the completion of the construction. So Marcye not only helped us with furnishings, decorating elements, colors, textures and window treatments, etc., but was able to work with the builder to ensure that interior details were correct for the home we were building and the finishes we had chosen. Specifically, she worked on design elements for trim, fireplace surrounds, bathroom details, kitchen details, a beautiful master closet and more. Her experience, professionalism and friendship helped us create the dream home we had always envisioned. We would unconditionally recommend Marcye to anyone seeking a wonderful professional to help with their design and decorating needs.

Marcye, I am writing to thank you again for all the work you did for us putting together this wonderful kitchen. I LOVE this kitchen. I am happy with everything we did, much of which were your ideas and strong guidance of choices. The places where we spent money I wasn't planning on (lighting) are SO worth it. I don't know what we would have done without Marcye to design our Bridge St. apartment in Portsmouth (see photos on Houzz). She has impeccable taste but more importantly she listens carefully and communicates beautifully with everyone involved - architect, project manager, vendors, subcontractors. She developed creative solutions for some tricky spaces. Her billing is straight forward and reasonable. Marcye was invaluable in helping me with the design of my condo/home (new construction) in the Portland Maine area. She was the consummate professional asking questions that I would not even have known to ask. Marcye will always give you her full attention. I first met Marcye in 2013 and had her design window treatments in my home for 2 bedrooms. Then in 2015 I decided to build a home. I immediately called Marcye. She helped me with kitchen designing, lighting, window treatments and color ideas as well as the placing of furniture. She also spent time furniture shopping with me. Marcye surpassed my expectations in all stages of what was a substantial renovation of my home. It included a full kitchen and master bath renovation along with a new addition. A good listener, great energy with an artistic eye. She has a natural ability for design as it was truly second nature for her.
