Maria DeCotiis, established Maria DeCotiis Interior Design as a result of her dedicated passion for design, with a focus on providing high-quality and refined interiors.
With a formal education in interior design and fashion from BCIT and Blanche MacDonald, Maria is confident taking the lead on projects large or small. Her
attention to detail and the big picture allow the client to rest assured that they are in
capable hands and will achieve exceptional results.
Inspired by her travels and constant sourcing for what is current yet enduring, Maria is thrilled to collaborate with clients to curate rooms that account for their personal taste, while contributing her expertise and keen eye for classic elegance.
The belief that functionality and chic sophistication are not mutually exclusive has lead to the creation of comfortable and timeless spaces.

We hired Fina Designs during the build of our new home. The idea of building our own house seemed so exciting until we got lost amongst the many design choices and the financial decisions that went with those choices. Maria not only helped us work towards our style preferences, she kept us within the budget set. It was such a positive and exciting experience working with Maria, She brought so much creativity and elegance to a project that started ordinary but became a home with the wow factor. I now have the home I only imagined , thank you Fina Designs!

used Fina to help draw up our new home. she started from scratch!! i was refreshing to see someone actually care about what my home would look like. She uses the mindset of how the finished home will look, placement of furniture and so on, so we would make sure rooms are a certain size and windows in the proper location. something you will not get with just hiring an architect!!

We employed Fina Designs services to redo our rooms and we were impressed with the results.
She helped us redesign and transform our living room, dining room, master bedroom, master en suite, powder room, my daughter's room, and my son's room. She chose wall paper, window coverings, paint colours, fabrics, furniture, accessories and designed built-ins. Her broad knowledge of merging colours and fabrics along with her ease of understanding personality made this a wonderful experience. Getting the results we wanted and keeping within budget was executed in every room. Very professional and would recommend to anyone.

Fina Designs helped me re-due all my bedrooms. They helped me from choosing my colour scheme and finding all the coordinating materials. They took care of everything from paint selection, designing my master bedroom built-in, designing my upholstered headboards, a chair and ottoman. Also, they shopped for the little items to help decorate and complete the room.
They were very professional. They worked within my budget and designed rooms that reflected exactly what I was looking for. I love my new rooms!
