Matthew MacCaul Turner

I've known Matthew my entire life and he's always had a strong design sensibility. I've seen his skill and taste evolve to a consummate professional architect and interior designer. I have visited several projects that display a wide range of styles. He's assisted me several times with my homes and the results were always perfect. He is highly recommended.

I paid him $15,000 and he disappeared and won't respond to email, calls and texts. Tried contacting him many times over several months and no response.

The first project we collaborated with Matthew MacCaul Turner was through the San Francisco Decorator Showhouse years ago. Matthew had asked us to collaborate with the art programing for a hallway and a central niche. Since then, we've worked with Matthew on several projects and have enjoyed his regular visits at Lost Art Salon. Matthew is always interested in new art collections we present and is always thinking about how our collection can be a resource for his current projects. His ability to mix ornate and Modern is stunning. And Matthew's sense of design and architecture allows him to work on projects from start to finish. And what else to say when a professional relationship turns into a great friendship!

Matthew created our lighting and floor plan transforming an ordinary space into a mix of modern and classic with pops of color. Matthew is extremely professional, incredibly talented and is well respected among his colleagues and industry professionals. I look forward to the chance to get to work with him again!

Matthew Turner is what all of us want in a great designer: someone who listens to our desires and plans, offers expert advice yet willing to modify plans/ideas as circumstances change. He always searches for the best value for your money, offering alternative options at every turn. He keeps himself very current and knowledgeable, and his taste level is impeccable as evidenced from his portfolio and clientele. I was lucky that he was able to make time for my major remodel/fixer in Whitley Heights, Los Angeles. This is a charming 1920's home which had seen neglect and poor (zero) design over the years. We are slowly coaxing her back into the beauty she once was. I could never have done this without Matthew's expertise, advice and support.
