I had a great experience with Megan Opel; She was at my house a bit over 2 hours and gave me really creative realistic ideas for my house. As a fellow mom, she also had ideas for making a play space in our main living space. She was very thoughtful and took my personal taste into account. I will definitely reach out to her again once I start purchasing the items she recommended (or similar ones). Yay Megan!

Megan helped design my second's son nursery and I could not be happier with how it turned out. It is my favorite room in the house! I gave her an idea for inspiration and then she helped create a detailed plan for the room, helped me find items within my budget and happily answered any question I had, no matter how small the detail. She also gave me ideas on how to merge my two boys' rooms together once I was ready to do that. We are now expecting our third and I plan on hiring her again soon to help design the new baby's room! I love her style and am very happy with her work.

We were referred to Meg by close friends who had a great experience with her and I couldn't be more thankful. I was looking for someone to help channel my admiration for colors and patterns in our home and she turned out to be the perfect match. Meg helped us find pieces that fit into our budget and was always available to bounce ideas off of when we were out shopping. The layout of our place is a bit odd but Meg embraced it and worked around all the obstacles that came up for us. Not only is she extremely talented, but Meg is so pleasant that it felt like we were working with a friend. We can't wait to let her get her hands on the rest of our place!

Hiring Meg for the consultation and design work of our kitchen remodeling was the best decision I made. She came well-prepared, knowledgeable, and with a great attitude for our time together. After the complimentary phone call and our working session, she was able to provide a complete proposal with several options of each item at different budget points. She was also able to incorporate all the details we discussed during our session into that design. I was then able to use all of her suggestions to create the kitchen we really desired at an affordable price. I could not have done the project without her. I would highly recommend Meg for your design work.

Meg Opel was unbelievably helpful, and I am so thankful that I hired her to help me. I made a very quick move to a new city with only a few pieces of furniture. I was starting a new job and needed help with layout, decoration and furniture selection. Meg made things extremely easy for me! She prepared well for our meeting and gave me the options, and we were able to quickly narrow down the best choices. Everything was in budget and she understood what my goal was for my apartment. Meg was an absolute delight to work with. I asked her to consult on furnishing (from scratch) my tiny Parisian apartment through email after she furnished my sister's apartment in Chicago and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. I first filled out a form detailing what I liked/disliked and submitted her photos and measurements of the space so she could develop the floor plan. She then proposed a floor plan and created mood boards to show me what various combinations of furniture would look like together. She listens when you say you don't like something but is also the *right* amount of persistent when you are skeptical but she is sure something will work. Her prices are reasonable especially given her lightening speed responses to emails. Two months later, my apartment was fully furnished with items I purchased exclusively online. The best part about working with Meg is that no matter what your style is (even if you don't know what your style is) she will work hard to take what you say and translate it into concrete items to buy to create that ambiance/feeling you are looking for. All I knew coming in was that given the tiny space (350 sq. feet), I wanted something comfortable, spacious seeming, anti-anxiety, with north-african/middle eastern accents, that would allow me a space to work out in front of a mirror. That is exactly what my space feels like today. At the end of it all, she even came to Paris to see the place in person and suggest some finishing touches. I would recommend Meg in a heartbeat to anyone who is trying to decorate/redecorate their home no matter where you are located!

Meg is incredible! I hired her to create room plans and to decorate our living space and the results were beyond what I had expected. Meg took the time to have a firm understanding of my lifestyle, coupled with my design style to create functional floor plans that made our home feel comfortable, yet stylish. She stuck within our budget and all of her proposals were delivered ahead of when she had promised.
