Melinda was awesome to work with! She decorated my specific rooms with enthusiasm and complete control of the project. She got to know our lifestyle so she could better understand what we needed and took the time to listen to our requests. We purchased an oceanfront 2,000 square foot condo in the Turks & Caicos in 2005 and asked Melinda Headrick of Chatham Interiors, Inc. to work with us in its interior design. There were five women who Melinda had to work with on this project, and I must say that Melinda made all of us feel like our opinion was so very important as she incorporated many of our ideas and wishes, along with her expertise and eye for color and design, into the finished product! And, the outcome was something short of spectacular! All of the partners were pleased because we had something that was unique and different from that of the other condos in the complex. I had the opportunity to go with Melinda for the installation and I came away with a much better understanding of the interior design thought process and a lot of respect for this woman who helped to create a "home away from home" for the partners who own the condo. We rent our condo during the high season, and it is amazing to hear how many of our guests rave about the décor. Thank you!

I found Melinda very easy and comfortable to work with. While developing the design for a piece of custom furniture, she was able to both express her ideas for the piece, and listen to mine. She was flexible in the design process when necessary, but always maintained a high standard. The result was a piece of furniture of which we are both proud. The furniture Melinda ordered is high quality, durable, and versatile. I have had the pleasure of working with Melinda on my home in Westfield, NJ. Her design skills and ability to "put it all together" are amazing. She has the ability to take a house from an empty space and turn it into a warm, inviting home room by room. We love every room in our house that she has "touched" so far and look forward to more room designs as our budget allows. Which is another great attribute of Chatham Interiors, working on a plan that was always mindful of our budget. The Chatham area is lucky to have such an incredible designer in its midst!
