Her recommendation for the carpet removal and flooring installer was spot on--great price and skilled workmanship. The final phase was painting the entire house AND the wood cabinets. She answered many questions along the way, and gave advice as needed-- and also guidance on additional purchases; such as rugs and ceiling fans. She made suggestions about how to arrange furniture to create better flow, and also regarding hanging certain pieces of artwork in groupings. What I really liked, is that she understood MY version of what I wanted; and made it happen--but better than I could have done on my own.

I called Melinda McGeorge after hearing glowing things about her from several friends. I moved from a large home to a much smaller one and Melinda made everything (furniture, accessories, artwork) fit nicely. We have renovated my kitchen (not appliances tho), turned a small powder room into a beautiful 'glam' space, and has given me more ideas for the master bath and an upstairs area where more artwork will go, when we resume my project after taking a brief rest waiting for cooler weather. Melinda has a great eye for space, and upon rearranging my living room made it much more inviting and open. She's kept me from making mistakes! We also made a cozy seating area (a couch, two chairs for an outdoor alcove andm, again, she prevented me from ordering furniture that would have overwhelmed the space. Last, each contractor she put me in touch with speaks very highly of Melinda.
