Melissa and Clara did an awesome job on the renovations for my childhood home! It was a daunting remodel, as we completely redid the master bath, kitchen, powder bathroom, dining room, & living room. Throughout the entire process, which spanned several months, Melissa was very communicative & thorough, making sure to always take into consideration my ideas & vision for the house. She was very pleasant & easy to work with and I am so pleased with the final results!

Melissa Cross Interiors did an incredible job remodeling our primary bathroom—it's probably the nicest bathroom we've ever seen, and it's ours! They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, listening intently to our hopes and wishes, offering thoughtful design options, handling changes with ease, and coordinating seamlessly with contractors. Melissa was wonderful to work with on our kitchen face lift! Our kitchen was dark and dated and my husband and I are quite indecisive. Melissa helped us establish a new vision and select design elements that we both loved. Her design boards were filled with options and made ordering items very easy. We enjoy our kitchen so much more now! She also helped us pick paint colors for throughout our home and we love the new color scheme. We met with Melissa several times throughout the process and always enjoyed our time with her!

I loved working with Melissa! She helped me design my Great Room (Living, Dining, Entryway) in my newly constructed townhouse. Her approach to getting to know who I am, and what mood & emotions I wanted out of the space was well thought through. I haven't worked with an interior designer before - and she walked me through the process and explained so many things that I didn't even think to ask about! All the furniture selections, colors, fabrics, and everything was thought through in detail. I love love love with the design! I'm so happy to have worked with Melissa on my new home!

Melissa and Kalena helped us execute our vision for our living room with beautiful new mid-century modern built-ins and a refresh of our half-bathroom with unexpectedly colorful wallpaper and decor. Their process of surveying likes/don't likes, preparing design options for consideration, and nailing down all the small details on the front made it so we got exactly what we expected. I needed help mainly to layout a design and help me bring together disparate ideas into a one cohesive concept. Melissa did just that. She walked me through the entire process within an agreed to budget, helping me navigate through trade-offs as necessary. Melissa even helped me pick out the exact tile and brought over product options so we could test it out in the actual space before locking in a decision. She helped refer me to contractors and was supportive through the execution process so that the design concepts came to fruition as expected. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. Melissa is incredibly talented! We partnered together on a 10 unit condo project in Old Town Alexandria. I shared the vision of who I imagined living in the building and the buyer profile we were planning to market to for the building. Melissa picked absolutely beautiful selections that gave the building instant character and charm while not being too specific and limiting potential buyers. She just 'got it' from day one. The developer of the project loved working with her because she made the process so easy! Her process made it easy to communicate, along with ordering and tracking saved us tons of time! We worked with Melissa to improve our kitchen layout. Melissa was responsive and very professional. She is great at listening and trying to understand the client's needs; she also communicates her timeline clearly and works within her client's budget. The design she came up with was exactly what we were envisioning and in line with what we had communicated to her. I hired Melissa to consult on some design decisions in our small rowhouse renovation. Wanting to create a seamless transition between old and new spaces Melissa offered ideas, encouragement, and a new perspective. I felt nervous to make so many decisions on my own, and Melissa was just the person I needed to talk through each decision.
