This is our second full home design project with Michelle. Our first home project was 1400 SF, 2br/2ba in Baltimore in 2015. Her design and execution were 10/10. I also reviewed that project on this website at that time. Our second project is our 1200 SF, 2br/2ba, coop in Manhattan in 2021. Again, her design and help with execution were a 10/10. She is exceptionally good at putting together designs that are both beautiful and functional. We are very (very) particular, and not easy, and she was patient and listened to feedback while not giving in automatically if we were being illogical. Working with Michelle, we arrived at an end result that was truly our style and even better than our high expectations. I worked with Michelle Miller Interiors when I recently moved from my 3 bedroom home into a smaller row house. Michelle helped me to edit down what I owned and then select pieces to compliment what I had left. I had requested bright colors and an eclectic feel. Michelle helped me to put everything together with paint colors, floor coverings, and window treatments that really fit my style, but looked much cleaner and more modern. Michelle was incredibly professional and did a great job with the install. Not one detail was overlooked. Overall, I'm thrilled with the result. My space is bright and comfortable and perfectly reflects who I am. I'd hire Michelle again in a minute!

Michelle Miller is one of those artists in Baltimore like Beach House, David Simon or Woodberry Kitchen that reminds you that there is something special about this city. We hired Michelle after two rounds of interviews with several candidates including friends of family. Michelle’s style (timeless, sophisticated, modern), substance (relationships with contractors, examples of finished work), and attitude (price, desire to do good work) all won us over. She completed the job (a 2br/2ba) on time (about 5 months) and on budget (about $75k) and kept up a positive and confident attitude throughout, despite our tendency to panic and over-control, as do first-time homebuyers from New York. Michelle’s unique intuition about what we wanted (example: we needed a closet, we wanted to have guests over, we wanted to enjoy our views); what was possible (not only in terms of budget, but in terms of what we never could have imagined; example: an entire custom integrated sideboard closet), and what was optimal form/function (her designs were so far beyond what we imagined, and the utility has met all our needs to this day), have earned our highest marks. I say her work is timeless, because several years later, we still could not be happier with her work. Michelle has our highest recommendation.

First and foremost, Michelle has a wonderful vision that helped create a unified whole for our open, modern home. She turned our small sunroom into a space that seems to melt into the outdoors and, thanks to the versatile furniture designed specifically for our space, can seat up to eight in an 11'x11' area that has thee walls of windows, a large screen TV, and a wide entrance. For our son, who deals with seasonal affective disorder, she did considerable research to create a light, bright room to accommodate his needs. In addition, she brought new life and serenity to other bedrooms and living spaces. Currently, she is working on our beach home and is helping us with a completely different feel there -- colorful and fun. On top of this, Michelle's patient, businesslike, and gracious manner are unique in her industry. She is absolutely lovely to work with.

Michelle and her team are by far and away the best designers I've ever worked with. Michelle designed and procured all the furnishings for our living room, dining room and kitchen. She listened to our goals developed a plan to fit the way we live. She has exquisite taste and a great eye for color. We needed everything completed in time for an event at our home, and on the day of the event the work was completed and the house looked amazing. She is incredibly organized - she prepared a binder of all the furnishings, materials, colors, etc. with prices so that we knew what we were getting and there were no surprises. She had many of the furnishings built locally, which we appreciated. When there were aspects that we were not happy with (e.g., some of the lighting), she quickly switched them out. We were so happy with her service, we had her help us with the design for our new boat as well. I couldn't recommend Michelle more highly.

I hired Michelle to do my row house in Baltimore City. I was on a tight schedule to begin work shortly after moving in. She was extremely attentive and finished my entire project in approx. 4 weeks (furniture lead time included). I called several interior designers to take a look at the house and provide proposals. Michelle was the only one to show up with a team of professionals (flooring contractor, painter, and a general contractor), who had all worked with Michelle in the past and knew exactly what she wanted. The general contractor, Mike, who I am still using to do various projects, was awesome and does amazing work. Michelle finished my house almost 1 month ago and I am still amazed every time I walk into the front door. Everyone I bring to the place can tell that there is no way I designed it, haha. Michelle jokes with me saying, I made it easy on her by letting her pick out all the colors and styles solely based on her perceptions of my style preferences when meeting with me. I could never have created something like this on my own. Michelle is truly talented and has a team of professionals who are committed to providing quality work, I am very impressed with her work and will continue to work with her on future projects. I recommend her highly.

Michelle worked for us both at our Pittsburgh, PA address and at our Dominican Republic condo. She has the ability to work with a variety of styles and tastes to provide a stylized, clean environment that reflects and meets the client's tastes, budget, and needs. Michelle selected our paint colors and styles, helped with the purchase of furniture, and completed our living space with just the right art work. Over the years, I have worked with several designers, but none of the compares professionally to Michelle. Without reservation, I recommend her.
