MK Decorative Design was founded by Mary Kathryn Aston, affectionately known by her friends and family as “MK.” Since childhood, MK had an innate flair for design and art and a unique sense of creativity. As a former teacher and mother of four, her advice and guidance were continually sought by others who admired the décor and organization incorporated within her own homes. Now, with the formation of her own Houston-based design company, MK is pursuing her passion for style and function in homes at the professional level. MK Decorative Design believes that a home is a sanctuary that reflects the unique lifestyle, tastes and interests of the individuals whom reside, work and play within its walls. Our goal is to create personalized interior design spaces that are not only timeless and beautiful but also functional. Whether a client is building from the ground up, embarking on a remodel or simply refreshing the look of current living spaces, we are available to meet their design needs with a custom tailored solution.
