My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

MLC Interiors is a full service Interior Design firm that specializes in residential and commercial interiors in New Jersey and the surrounding Tri-State area. Our projects can range from a single room redecoration to an entirely new construction project where we assist the architect and builder from concept to completion. Having been in the Interior Design business since 1990, we have gathered a tremendous amount of resources necessary to successfully complete a project in a timely and professional manner. We strongly believe that collaboration between client and designer is an essential ingredient in achieving a favorable outcome. Our ultimate goal is an outcome we hope our clients can be proud of. MLC Interiors is best known for creating rooms that are beautiful and tranquil. MLC Interiors is constantly evolving to keep up with the ever- changing world we all live in. We strive to remain fresh and current in our selection of fabrics, furnishings and finishes while never compromising our sense of style.

I have photographed MaryLou's interior design projects and I can say she is a real pro. Her rooms are absolutely stunning! I always look forward to seeing her projects. She also has extensive renovation and construction knowledge and a great team of contractors and artisans. She is professional, hardworking and has many years of experience. Hire her!!

My husband and I hired Mary Lou Clarke to completely design and furnish our new home in Bernardsville, NJ. We lucked out, as she is an incredible designer to work with. From the minute we met with her she exhibited professionalism, patience, and impeccable follow through on the 100’s of details involved in our project. She transformed our space and even re designed some of the architecture details to better fit the style we wanted. Her ability to LISTEN to what we wanted, and her incredible eye for design and color made our house SPECTACULAR. She was such a pleasure to work with and I can’t wait to buy another home so that we can work with her again.
