My husband and I highly recommend working with Meridith Ranouil. Meridith was extremely helpful when we were building our new home. She quickly learned our preferred style and was able to help us select finishes and furnishings that we absolutely love. She made a large project seem very manageable for us and helped us stay on budget. We found her to be accessible, available and responsive. It was wonderful to have her negotiate the details with the builder and vendors. We will use Meridith and MLH Designs for any future purchases and projects.

Meridith is amazing at her job! Very helpful and very knowledgeable with house layout on the building plans, taking into account the clients style and helping pick out interior, and can take your project all the way to end by designing the whole interior look of your house with furniture, art, rugs, etc. Highly recommend MLH designs and will be using her again for our next build.

I began working with Meredith in February 2014, towards the end of our home’s construction. She is a very good listener with incredible vision. I’ve worked with many interior designers through the years and I can wholeheartedly say she is the best I’ve met. I love her taste but also trust the practicality of her designs. She is always very professional, prepared, and prompt. We can honestly say that a large part of why we love our home as much as we do is a result of her work. She started with our living room-kitchen-dining room space. We loved what she did in those areas so much that as soon as we were able, we had her decorate the rest of the house. I would highly recommend working with Meridith!

We worked with Meridith over the course of about 2 years when we were building our house during 2013-2014. I can't say nice enough things about her. She has impeccable taste and a refined and sophisticated style, as well as exemplary work ethic. She did the designs of the bathrooms and the kitchen, and picked pretty much all of the fixtures, finishes, and colors throughout the house. She also worked with us on the interior design of several rooms. The result is a gorgeous house that we love coming home to everyday! We wanted neutral and light colors, clean lines, and a contemporary and unfussy style and she successfully delivered what we had in mind. Throughout the lengthy project, she continuously involved us to get our opinion and feedback to ensure we would be very much satisfied with the end result. She also took care to stay within the budget we had set and didn’t mind researching less expensive substitutions when we needed on some occasions. She's very responsive, organized, and extremely professional. We had some contractors and issues that proved to be challenging and difficult, and Meridith handled those situations well, keeping in mind our best interest at all times. She worked well with our architects as well. I also enjoyed getting to know her on a personal basis, she's so nice and pleasant, and down-to-earth! I wholeheartedly recommend Meridith and won't hesitate to work with her if we have another project in the future.

As a contractor, I have had the privilege of working with Meridith and MLH Designs on numerous occasions. Meridith is always focused on the needs of the client. She brings unique creativity to all of her projects so that no two designs look alike. Whether in planning meetings or at the job site, Meredith is always organized and prepared to discuss issues that come up keeping the project moving forward and meetings to a minimum. I have been working with Meridith since the beginning stages of my new home. From our first meeting to the most recent finishing touches, Meridith has listened closely and obtained a sense of what we really wanted out of our home in both its design and its function. Although I am unable to even describe what I want at times, she uses pictures that I have found and examples of what I like to find the most interesting pieces and put them all together to make for a completely unique and personal space that accommodates our family and even pushes us a little outside our design comfort zone. Those little pushes outside my design comfort zone are what make our home unique, but extremely livable! Without reservation, I would choose Meridith for any and everything in the design arena. I have never regretted that first meeting and every project she has created for us!! Her experience shows through her smart choices and her knowledge when working with subcontractors. Her connections and resources in the area are phenomenal and I am confident any time she refers me to someone for their work. From floor to ceiling with everything in between, Meridith knows who and what to choose to get the best products, pieces, and prices. Her attention to detail has made the design portion of our home building experience completely positive. Can't recommend her highly enough!!

Meridith designed the entire main floor of my home, including two baths and kitchen. She understood and interpreted my vision beautifully, even when I was a little vague. She could sense when I was a little lukewarm with some of her ideas and quickly came back with alternatives. I'm not very hands on, so I appreciated that she took charge of the projects. The contractor encountered some stumbling blocks, and Meridith was able to work with him to resolve those issues. I would recommend that you watch your costs, as Meridith likes to use upper-end items--yet, she is good at finding the less expensive alternatives. I would, and have, recommended her highly.

I have worked with MLH Designs on 3 projects in the last 6 years and have loved every one of them! The three projects were a total bathroom remodel, a bedroom redecoration, and a kitchen/living room/dining room/guest bath remodel. All of them turned out fabulous! Can't wait to start another project with Meridith!
