We hired the design team at Model Lux when we did renovations to our house. The scope of work of the entire project included: Repaint the entire house Replace the carpet in the basement with vinyl flooring Replace the backsplash in the kitchen, new kitchen furniture and valances New lighting in on the main floor Complete redesign of ensuite Complete redesign of laundry room We are very pleased with the results. They took the ideas and images of design elements we liked and put together a comprehensive package for us. Amy and Mallory were able to incorporate the new colours and finishes into the features we were not changing to create a fresh, new look. They worked within our budget and were able to give us options at multiple price points. They were excellent to work with, accommodating with our schedules and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again and/or refer them to our friends.

We just completed our second project with Model Luxe Designs and couldn’t be happier. We knew we wanted to update our home; however weren’t sure where to start or what is current and trending. Amy and Mallory came to our residence for a consultation to understand what we were looking for and understand our design goals. They then took a thorough tour of our house, room by room and brought us suggestions of how we could accomplish our goal at different price points. We decided to move forward with custom blinds and it’s all our friends can talk about. They made such a huge impact. Amy and Mallory are well connected in the industry and installation was a breeze. For our second project, we were looking for a complete update to the exterior of our home. Amy and Mallory were true experts and presented many ideas for us to consider. We loved having them do the shopping for us, as this made our lives very simple and took the guess work out of the project. They helped us in choosing a new stucco colour, new front door and side window and some of the smaller features like house numbers and door bell. We love it!!! It has made such a difference and we have received several compliments from our neighbours about how modern it looks. Amy and Mallory are very prompt with their communication, transparent about costs and work involved, and very easy to speak with. We would 100% recommend working with them, and we will be partnering with them soon on our next project.

We hired Model Luxe to select and install blinds for our new build in Symons Gate. We couldn’t be happier with our purchase! Amy and Mallory carefully considered our needs for light and privacy and our budget and gave different options to choose from. The time they took to assess what we needed was well worth it. We wouldn’t change a thing and the result is seamless.

I was put in touch with Mallory to source some wallpaper for a few walls in our house. She was easy to work with, prompt and efficient with a quote and ultimately with scheduling the work. I had some wallpaper done through a different company when we first moved into our house and Model Luxe Design’s prices were very reasonable in comparison. Would contact them for sure again, if we had a need, and would definitely recommend them to others.

Mallory and Amy helped me with a new home that we recently built. They did all of my window coverings as well as a custom piece of furniture. They were both very professional and a pleasure to deal with. They communicated their ideas very clearly and and always came up with beautiful options. Amy and Mallory have helped us with desing and decor ideas for our previous and current homes. They are amazing, not only they do a lot of research but they also get to know us and our tastes. The showed so much creativity when combining mine and my bf's polar opposites tastes into the most beautiful bedroom I've ever had the pleasure to sleep in, all thanks to the talent behind Model Luxe Designs. Amy and Mallory were amazing. We had just moved into a new house and had gone out and purchased a few items. We are pretty conservative so the place was looking pretty bland to start. Despite our lack of vision for the space and experience decorating, they were able to quickly come up with ideas that fit what we were looking for. They quickly went hunting for items and within a couple weeks came back with multiple item choices for each area that fit with the theme/color scheme for us to chose from for our living room, dining room, and kitchen areas. On top of it all, they were able to do all this BELOW our budget (which made my husband very happy!). They were very accommodating when it came to finding times to meet. We've had many compliments from our friends on how nice it looks! If you're looking for someone that has great style, vision, is able to quickly find furniture/decor, can work within any budget, and is responsive to any questions and feedback then Model Luxe is a good choice!

Both Amy and Mallory were Fantastic!! They listened to what we had in mind, and provided amazing feedback. They went out of their way to help with delivery and set-up at our home. I would, correction will use their services again!! I would recommend them to anyone!!

This past year was the second time we've used Model Luxe Designs for interior design and furnishing for a new home (first was in 2014 and of comparable cost). Amy and Mallory are both extremely professional, friendly, knowledgeable and, in addition to having their own great tastes, they excelled at tailoring to and enhancing our own personal styles and preferences. Using Model Luxe Designs saved us a considerable amount of time and money overall when compared to trying to do it ourselves. The outcome was a beautifully designed and styled home that, thanks to their collaborative and engaging approach, still matches our personalities and feels like "us".
