Natalie Younger Interior Design, Allied ASID

We hired NYID to help renovate our back guest house, as it was in need of major change. Everything was outdated, and there were things that were definitely not up to code. We didn't know where to begin until we were referred to NYID. We were surprised by her professionalism, creativity and ability to get things moving and finished-- as our previous experience with contractors, designers etc. hasn't always been the best. NYID was able to get us more for our money, under budget and exceeded our expectations. Everyone who has walked through the doors of our guest house is absolutely speechless by what it looks like. I have referred Natalie to everyone I know. NYID came into our space when we needed help, and transformed it into a warm, beautiful space that we love!

This is our second house Natalie has completely redesigned for us. She took the first from the 60's and into the current era, let's just say it was in need of a vision! Her ability to see beyond was nothing short of genius and in almost an obnoxious record time we were embarrassed to ask (yes we only had 2 months from start to finish). So now almost 3 years later we needed to expand and decided to say goodbye to our beautiful home. After selling it (in a bidding war and getting a dream price tag) WE simply could not wait to call her for our next! She really was a proponent for our budget and although we wanted everything we knew the reality was we had a budget and it would only go so far, but her ability at making our money stretch was so appreciated. She has this unbelievable fortitude and we appreciated her guidance. She partnered up with our contractor and was there throughout. As we found to be typical with remodels, many surprises came along the way and effected our budget, even though we were realistic and accounted for such with our contingency, it just ate into more. The remodel is complete and each room is everything we'd hoped it would be, now we cannot wait to finish implementing the final aspects of her design with finishing all the rooms furnishings and details in the coming months. We really thought we would miss our first house so much, but the truth is I think she could make any home our dream home!

Natalie coordinated a complete re-design of my condo, including all new cabinets, countertops, furniture, design, accessories, styling, etc. etc. She was FANTASTIC to work with - friendly, responsive, amazing ideas. She very quickly picked up on what my taste was and every suggestion was exactly right. I couldn't recommend her more!

I didn't realize my positive review was still up here. I would like to take it down but the Houzz option is only to edit. I don't normally do reviews, but Natalie asked me to do write a positive review before the project was done. Needless to say, it didn't end the way we agreed to or how I wanted.

I hired NYID provide interior design services for a new home I purchased 6 months ago. I've been greatly impressed with Natalie and her team from day 1. NYID spent time working with me to learn my general style and planned a complete redesign of my home. The initial design plan was amazing and as we complete each room the final designs are coming out even better than I ever expected! Natalie was able to accomplish everything within my budget and was willing to work within my own crazy schedule. Natalie Younger and her entire design team were outstanding! My partner and I were in the process of merging households with two very different visions as far as design and home aesthetics. Luckily, Natalie was there to save the day. She did a fabulous job of making our home not only gorgeous, but also a perfect representation of our two styles, which I know was a very difficult task. She did a great job of laying out a complete design and installation plan and we are so happy with the results!

We hired Natalie to do a remodel on our first home, and we are so happy to have such a dream home!There was a great deal to be done! Her professionalism, knowledge and commitment to our job was astonishing! She is definitely at the top of her profession. Having Natalie do ALL the scheduling and organizing of all that needed to be done was a huge relief to us. We just sat back and let her take over after we approved her plan for our house. She even did it all within our budget and deadline. Wow! We are so excited to show our friends and family, and we are looking forward to spending many years in our gorgeous new home.

I love Natalie's work to death and now consider her brain an extension of my own (hers being the organized, trained designer brain; mine just the other sometimes-useful stuff). But working with her was hard for me at first. See, I'm a super easy-going guy when it comes to just about everything, but if we start talking aesthetics I quickly become highly opinionated and even obstinate. Add a crazy deadline and I can become a monster (a friendly one, though). I first worked with Natalie when she helped us refresh the design of our stores in Hawaii, just about the time we were ready to open a new one. This new store would be the prototype design-wise that the older stores would then follow. It was a stressful time because my girlfriend/business partner and I hired Natalie when the new store opening project was already underway. I'd designed and built four stores on my own and had the rhythm for the work down to a science. Now, having to coordinate with someone else when it came to design -- in the middle of handling a store buildout -- was kinda nuts. But, though we butted heads a few times, I'm now so grateful for Natalie's input and help. That was my first experience working with an interior designer. Since then Natalie has totally transformed three apartments for us in Marina del Rey, our Maui home, and is now in the middle of helping us design our dream home in Santa Monica. If I were to pay her the ultimate compliment it is this: There is only one guy in the world who gets my musical aesthetic, and that's my friend Richie. With visual design, it is Natalie. She actually designed my apartment with barely any input/involvement on my part while I was away in Hawaii. That's how much I trust her. And here's an extra compliment: I almost hate having to leave this apartment even though we're moving to a much nicer home.

Natalie has done 4 residential and one big commercial project for me now, and I'm about to hire her from another big one. My favorite thing about working with Natalie is that she is a genius with working with "regular people" budgets. I'm sure she's saved us a fortune with just her great sourcing for the absolutely the best prices in all aspects of her projects. I'm 100 percent sure that If I had embarked on any of these projects on my own, without a interior designer, I would have spent WAY more. Secondly, I'm impressed on how fast she completes her projects. She is ON IT!

I have worked with NYID on several residential remodel projects and each one has been a bigger success than the previous. This is 100% attributable to the amazing work by Natalie and her team! NYID handles everything from the initial design, budgeting, project/construction management and final preparation for resale. From start to finish NYID makes the process so seamless it brings peace of mind knowing that every aspect of the project is being taken care of. I am always kept well informed throughout the process without being over inundated. Also if anything unexpected comes up (always does with most projects!), I trust that it is handled quickly so that it won't jeopardize my timeline.

AMAZING! AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!! Natalie has so much talent oozing uncontrollably out of her that it's crazy! She thoughtfully tailors each home with the likes and personality of each home owner. This is evident with the fact that her talents are so awe-inspiring that after her first finished product in one unit, she inspired two more neighbors to also sign up for an interior design make-over, including myself. Although the layout is the same, the interior design of each place is sooo unique and utterly different from one another. Till this day, I absolutely LOVE my place!!! I wanted a beachy modern / contemporary feel and that's what she delivered. Take a look at the photos for the Natural Loft. Every time I come home, it makes me so happy to be home. Natalie carefully listens to what you want and somehow weaves it into her design. She's able to incorporate my favorite colors into the art work, the walls, and accessories through-out my place, and brought forth my vision to life. Thank you Natalie!!! My name is Danny Golden and I am so lucky I found Natalie. She was actually a client of mine (i sell hardwood floors) and I was impressed with her so much that I hired here to redo the cosmetics on the remodel that I tried to do myself. The best way that I describe how awesome of a job she did is by this. When i would come home I would always look around and be looking at things I did not like (color, furniture, placement, etc) and felt that my house was unfinished. Well after hiring Natalie, I can honestly say that when I come home now, my home feels complete and she was able to transform my house, into exactly what I wanted. I gave her an idea of what we wanted and she then came back with ideas and pictures. We totally trusted her decisions and she did an amazing job and we are so happy.
