Nicole has helped us on several projects, including two bathroom remodels and kitchen / bathroom design finishes for another project. She has been absolutely great to work with. The combination of her creative design sense and ability to listen to the client makes each project enjoyable and successful.

Nicole came into our showroom Premier Bath and Kitchen a few months ago wanting to get some ideas for her upcoming client's projects. She wasn't starting the projects just yet, however when she was, I truly respected that she immediately reached out to me being I first helped her when she was here. Nicole's communication and accuracy on exactly what her clients needed was exactly what I needed to be able to assist her in any way I possibly could to make sure I exhausted everything possible to make it so much easier for her. I absolutely love working with her, not only because of her personality and professionalism, but also because of the relationship we built to make sure her clients are always satisfied with her creative eye! Nicole replied quickly to our request to meet and discuss our scope of work. My husband and I felt her level of professionalism was high, and she listened intently to our thoughts on style, budget and timeline. Our scope included choosing fixtures for a new custom kitchen, including lighting, tile, hardware and wall color. It also included a full bath, "soup to nuts" --all tile, lighting, countertop, and wall color. She also assisted with new exterior paint selections. When we'd shop together, which was my preference, though she has clients who prefer to have Nicole handle all shopping, she'd quickly adapt to the feedback I'd give her on selections we'd make real-time. It made for efficient work. She came up with great ideas that I would not have thought to find on my own. It made for fun and effective outings together. Everything she chose has received rave reviews from friends and family. We we will use Nicole again for our next project!

I hired Nicole to help with a redesign of our living room and dining room. Our project was a challenge in that the living room is also a pass-thru to the rest of the house and relatively small in scope - the project covered floor coverings, lighting, furniture and accessories. Nicole was super easy to work with, never pushing her ideas too strongly but instead listening to what I liked, what I wanted and more often what I thought I wanted. I definitely had a budget and Nicole was very respectful (and creative!) in meeting it. Our new rooms are comfortable, practical for a family with 2 teens, and complemented by everyone who visits. I would recommend Nicole Benveniste Interior Design without hesitation!

We hired Nicole to help with a complete remodel and she was great. She was thoughtful, creative, professional, easy to work with and really cared about all aspects of our project. Highly recommend!

I worked on two residences with Nicole after seeing several projects she has done for others - I knew that her work for other clients reflected my taste and the scope of what I needed help with. She first helped me with paint color selection and window coverings for a condominium in Napa, CA. she did a beautiful job a blending interior paint colors with the outdoors and creating smooth color transitions from room to room in an open space. We love the outcome and many guests comment on how nicely the colors work in our unit. The total cost of this project was about $2,000 The second project was in our permanent home - Again, Nicole selected the paint colors for the entire interior, planning the color transition from room to room. She managed the redecoration of a guest bedroom, selecting carpeting, linens, window seat upholstery furnishings and the repainting of some furniture. We discussed the scope of the project, she selected and brought samples to our home, and purchased some items. She also chose carpeting for interior stairs and arranged for the installation of that carpeting. This project cost about $6,000. I recommend her highly. Nicole is easy to work with and we were able to establish a comfortable, honest working relationship. She is good at working with individual budgets. I was pleased to find that I could say "no" to a recommendation and know that she would find an alternative that we could work with. I give Nicole 5 stars.

Nicole has done several projects for our family ranging from designing our girls bedrooms to a family room design for our east coast house. Nicole took the time to interview each of our children so that she could accurately assess their design aesthetic. The final product represented their individual personalities while staying within parental limits. Nicole is a professional and she respectfully listens and pays attention to our family needs and budget when designing our spaces. I would highly recommend Nicole for your next project!

Nicole is an extremely talented and experienced interior design professional whose imaginative solutions transformed our kitchen storage and playroom/guestroom in Lafayette, CA. We originally hired her to convert a blank space that had formerly been a kids plays area into a stylish lounge space and home office that can double as a guest room when out of town visitors come to stay. She took the time up front to understand our goals and then designed fantastic built in shelves and cabinets to meet our home office needs, helped select the perfect hardware and finishes, sourced furniture and carpet and presented us with a range of options to match our tastes. We loved what was happening so much on that project that we also sought her advice on creating additional pantry storage in our galley kitchen, and she suggested a fantastic idea to add a "drop zone" for kids backpacks, shoes and jackets along with the pantry. I now can't imagine how our family managed before this inventive use of a small space. I would absolutely hire Nicole again and refer her to my friends and colleagues!

Fabulous experience on two homes. Very creative with eye to every detail. Nicole is a good listener and incorporates the homeowners' wants with practicality and great style. Attentive about budget and has great resources. Knows her craft well and is current and innovative. Works well with other service providers ( installers, furniture makers, etc). Honest and straightforward with kindness and good humor. We felt very well cared for and our needs were understood and met beyond our expectations. We love our home!

We hired Nicole Benveniste to help us with a giant remodel/addition project to our home in the Oakland Hills in 2010. We took our main living area and kitchen to studs and added 1,600 square feet with 3 new bedrooms and 2 new bathooms. I was completely overwhelmed with all the choices that I had to make, and Nicole was a master at understanding what we wanted and knew exactly where to go to find it at a reasonable price. She saved us so much time and stress. She had great relationships with all of our suppliers - tile, stone, wood flooring, furniture, window coverings, cabinet makers - and if ever anything was not perfect she handled it quickly and professionally. Our project was on-time and on budget which is in large part to her expertise. She was great at helping us know where to cut corners and where to spend our money. Her eye for color is flawless -- I have struggled to find the right paint colors in the past and she was able to translate what exactly what I meant for each room. She came up with better ideas for our kitchen than our architect did and as a mom, she really understood how a family with three kids and a dog would need to function in our new living space. We just loved working with Nicole and you will too!
