I have worked with Nielsen Dye Design a few times. They have always been a very helpful. Most recently I used their services for window coverings, furnishings, and some design choices for my new condo. Working with Phil was a pleasure and he helped me with all of the necessary decisions, and inadvertently saved me money. I can't recommend him enough!

Nielsen Dye Design, did an amazing job designing and selecting materials for a master bathroom remodel we did. Our master bathroom had been remodeled in 2001 but because of a shower pan leak it needed to be gutted. We took the opportunity to reorganize the layout so that we could include two sinks and more storage but also have the room feel bigger. They came up with creative approaches, listened to all of our needs and wants, found us cost affective products and kept all design concepts within the overall feeling of our home. We couldn't have been any happier with their work or the outcome.

Douglas Dye and Philip Nielsen recently helped me downsize. I had seen their work in my new home - features that compelled me to make an strong offer. As soon as my offer was accepted, I immediately called them to ask if they could help me figure out what to take with me and how it should be arranged. We met and in a few days' time, they inventoried and measured everything at my old and new homes and put together a creative and meticulous plan for every piece and every room and outdoor space at my new home. I then could confidently give away pieces that were not going to fit, prepare, and also provide my movers with a roadmap of what goes where. It helped make the move go so smoothly! My friends and family cannot believe how quickly everything came together and how beautiful and functional everything is. I am so happy!! I will continue to work with Doug and Phil in making further refinements. They are a pleasure to work with and I consider them to be trusted advisors for any and all home design.

We needed five pieces re-upholstered but didn't have the time or patience to look at countless fabrics and trims to find (and agree on) what would work with the existing design elements in two rooms. What a relief to have Phil and Doug understand almost immediately what we wanted. We followed their suggestions on how the seats and cushions should be constructed, and all of the pieces now look and feel like new.

Helped me downsize significantly. Created my new and smaller (4000 sq. ft) home in a gracious and sophisticated way using old pieces blended perfectly with newly purchased ones. Chose colors, fabrics, upholstery, window coverings and oversaw installations. In addition to being creative and professional, Douglas was a pure pleasure to work with.
