I live in a small Chicago bungalow style home and I wanted to update my bedroom and living room. Let me just say, I am terrible at decorating and I usually describe my living space as a young 20 yr old bachelor apartment, and I am a 42 year old woman! So, hiring NI to help me recreate my space was a no brainer. Since this was a smaller project and the schedule I kept was hectic at the time, Tammy was able to capture my vision and "tell my story" in every detail of my room virtually! Yes, you heard me correctly. NI and I worked together on my project from beginning to end virtually. We worked off of pictures, dimensions of the room, renderings, etc. It was a perfect working relationship for my hectic schedule and size of project. I wanted to love the rooms I spend most of my time in and NI was able to do just that for me.

Wonderful to work with! We brought her a really difficult space that she did a fantastic job designing. She picked very affordable products and had very easy links for purchasing which is quite helpful! Would highly recommend!

We purchased a new home and were at a loss at how to design and decorate it from scratch! Our builder introduced us to Tammy and let me just say she truly has a creative knack for what she does! I gave her a few ideas from my Pinterest boards and she presented me amazing design boards for all the rooms in the house. She also had samples for me to see in person. Everything she chose from the exterior to the interior designs were perfect. She did a fabulous job designing the house with my tastes in mind. What a dream it was to have Tammy out from Novel Interiors! We were in need of sprucing up our curb appeal and she helped with ideas I had never thought of. Tammy planned for new paint colors, porch and lighting options that really made the outside of our home look rich, timeless and inviting. I look forward to having Tammy design my next project....the kitchen and main level of my home!

Tammy is truly fantastic. From the moment she walked into my home she was fun and engaging, listened to my desires for my kitchen and master bath and provided thoughtful suggestions. She asked enough questions to truly understand my style and had me provide inspiration pics to further detail what I loved. She kept me posted every step of the way and the reveal was nothing short of amazing. I didn't think I could possibly love a design so much so to love both designs so much exceeded my wildest imagination! The 3D renderings were so spot on to what we wanted and so close to the aspects I really wanted from y inspirational pics. I absolutely recommend Tammy in a heartbeat. Plus she is really fun! YOu won't be disappointed!

Tammy did a fantastic job on my living room and wine room. I get so many compliments. She was easy and fun to work with! I liked what she did so much that I hired her for my outdoor living space too! (Deck).

Tammy did an amazing job designing a shower in our downstairs bathroom, redecorating our master bedroom and helping with a few other design projects. She has tremendous vision, is extremely efficient and reliable and simply awesome to work with. Her recommended contractor on our project was also terrific.

Tammy did an amazing job with our living room, dining room and foyer! She did things that I would have never thought to do! We are having her back to do our master bedroom, a gallery wall and the office. Not only is she easy to communicate with, but is also very timely and professional. It's obvious she is very passionate about her job as it shows! From the small décor pieces to the big area rug, we love everything and so glad we found her.

We were referred to Tammy just after breaking ground on our new construction home. We were very much feeling the pressures of new construction decision-making and realized we needed help. In the very first meeting Tammy pointed out a MAJOR design flaw in our kitchen design layout. Fortunately we had met with Tammy early enough to be able to make the change. After the first meeting Tammy immediately went to work to create a complete design plan. She presented us with beautiful design boards for each room with all selections from lighting to flooring to tile to countertops to paint colors to interior door style to interior door handles...every detail. Each design board was spot on, we could not have been more pleased. Tammy was conscientious of budget keeping very much in mind our builder allowances. We would highly recommend Tammy to any one for any project. The only regret we have is not working with Tammy from the initial decision to build…her insight is invaluable. In the new construction process we had made some design choices but had not yet placed orders. We avoided some very costly mistakes after meeting with Tammy with her design expertise and her commitment to referring us to cost effective resources. Aside from her incredible eye for style Tammy is kind, incredibly responsive, and truly made us feel we were her only client. We truly do not know how we could have done this without her! You need Tammy!!

To say we were happy with the work Tammy did for us is an understatement. She beautifully transformed our space and was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the process. She stayed within our budget, made sure to find things that reflected our style, and did a wonderful job incorporating many Items we already had. You could really tell how much she enjoys what she does and that passion is reflected in her finished work. We look forward to having Tammy tackle other rooms in our house soon!
